Standard Requirements for Prefabricated Housing

Admin September 18, 2026

The standard requirements for prefabricated housing cover various aspects including foundations and bases, main structures, material usage, construction specifications, design principles, and other requirements, as detailed below:

In terms of foundations and bases, stability requirements are crucial. The foundation must possess sufficient load-bearing capacity, with reinforcement measures such as pile foundations or soil replacement layers implemented based on geological conditions. The depth of foundation embedding should take into account factors such as geology, groundwater levels, and permafrost depth to ensure foundation stability. Material quality is also of great importance. Materials such as cement and steel bars used should comply with relevant national standards and design requirements to guarantee the strength and durability of the foundation and base.

For the main structure, structural design should be reasonable, with the dimensions, reinforcement, and connection methods of structural components meeting seismic fortification requirements and relevant specifications. The quality of prefabricated components is equally important. The production of cement prefabricated components should adhere to standards, ensuring dimensional accuracy, strength, and durability. The connections between components should be firm and reliable, meeting structural safety requirements.

Regarding material usage, for cement quality, qualified cement should be selected, with its strength grade, soundness, and other indicators meeting national standards. Among other materials, sand, gravel, steel bars, etc., should comply with relevant national standards and design requirements. The concrete strength grade should not be lower than C20 and should be verified through testing. The tensile strength of steel bars should not be lower than 335MPa. Wall panels can be selected from materials with good quality and stability, such as rock wool boards and polystyrene boards.

In terms of construction specifications, a reasonable process should be followed, including foundation treatment, foundation construction, installation of prefabricated components, roofing, and waterproofing works. Attention should be paid to construction details, such as the splicing of prefabricated components and the laying of waterproof layers, to ensure construction quality meets requirements. Construction should be carried out in accordance with national standards and specifications, especially in aspects such as concrete pouring, steel structure installation, and wall panel installation, with strict quality control implemented.

Regarding design principles, design should be optimized to reduce costs and increase service life, complying with national building codes and standard requirements, and fully considering the environmental friendliness and safety of the building.

For other requirements, site selection and design should be carried out properly, selecting an appropriate construction site and formulating detailed design plans and reasonable layout plans according to the intended use. Construction and installation process control should be strengthened, with operations strictly following drawings and specifications. Thermal insulation, fire prevention, and sound insulation designs should be well-executed, with appropriate materials selected. Construction schedules should be reasonably arranged to avoid delays. Safe construction should be ensured to prevent accidents.
