Beijing 2008 Olympic Venues Support Project

During the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Chengdong undertook the construction of more than 48,000 m² of prefabricated buildings, covering 21 competition venues and 27 non-competition venues.

Uses included athlete lounges, a vehicle registration center, catering and media rooms, technical rooms, BOB broadcast rooms, viewing buildings, stables, and other multi-function spaces, meeting temporary space needs during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Before and during the Games, Chengdong’s Olympic-dedicated prefabricated buildings received unanimous praise from clients and the Organizing Committee, becoming a distinctive feature beside the venues.
