Mobile Toilets for Construction Sites

Admin October 08, 2026

Mobile toilets used on construction sites are facilities that can be moved as a whole to provide toilet services for construction workers.

I. Basic Components Mobile toilets typically consist of core components such as fecal sewage storage tanks (or disposal units), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. Some high-end models are also equipped with auxiliary facilities such as exhaust fans, tissue boxes, and hooks. For example, the 4+1 step-type mobile toilet features bamboo-wood fiber board interior walls, anti-slip tile floors, a complete set of bathroom cabinets, side doors made of titanium-magnesium alloy, and exterior walls made of heat-insulating and flame-retardant metal carved panels, balancing practicality and safety.

II. Main Types

  1. By structural form: They are divided into single-unit structures (independent units) and composite structures (multi-unit combinations), which can adapt to the needs of construction sites of different scales.
  2. By mobility method: They include lifting/handling types (requiring external equipment for movement) and powered/towable types (with their own power or capable of being towed by vehicles), with the latter being more suitable for scenarios requiring frequent relocation.
  3. By sewage treatment method:
    • Water-flush and non-water-flush suction types: They rely on external water sources or regular suction of fecal sewage, suitable for construction sites with sufficient water sources or convenient sewage disposal.
    • Recirculating water-flush types: They achieve sewage recirculation through biological degradation or chemical treatment, reducing water consumption.
    • Dry-pack types: They use degradable bags to collect feces without flushing, suitable for areas with water shortages or high environmental protection requirements.

III. Core Advantages Mobile toilets offer mobility (they can be quickly deployed to any point of need), combinability (they can expand capacity through modular design), and reusability (they can be transported to new sites after the completion of a project), significantly reducing the construction costs and time of traditional toilets. In addition, eco-friendly mobile toilets (such as dry-pack and recirculating water-flush types) further align with green construction concepts by reducing sewage discharge or recycling resources. Some customized products (such as simple toilets with water storage tanks and pallets) can also be flexibly adjusted according to special needs, enhancing applicability.
