Mobile Toilet Without Water Supply

Admin September 27, 2026

A mobile toilet without water supply, also known as a waterless ecological toilet, is an environmentally friendly toilet that can treat waste without traditional water flushing, suitable for places without water supply and drainage conditions.

Waterless ecological toilets use physical, biological, or chemical technologies to replace the water-flushing function and achieve effective waste treatment. Specifically, there are several types:

  1. Waterless Packaging Ecological Toilet: Its core components include packaging bags made of biodegradable film, mechanical devices, and a feces storage tank. When someone uses the toilet, the traction device automatically starts, packaging and sealing the excreta in the packaging bag to prevent odor leakage. This type of toilet does not require any water source or water supply and drainage pipes, making it ideal for areas with water shortages or where water supply and drainage cannot be connected.

  2. Waterless Biological Treatment Fertilizer-Producing Ecological Toilet: This toilet is equipped with a biochemical reactor containing biological fillers that can be periodically replenished. Feces are degraded and fermented under the action of microorganisms, ultimately producing humic organic fertilizer that can be used for agricultural fertilization. Urine is treated and used as liquid fertilizer, achieving resource recycling.

  3. Waterless Flushable Ecological Toilet: It uses a urine-feces separator to separate urine and feces. The collected urine is treated with special agents to form an odorless light blue liquid used as a flushing solution. The feces are mixed with the flushing solution and treated to become an odorless pulp-like fluid for subsequent treatment.

In addition, there is a vacuum self-priming water-saving ecological toilet. Although not completely waterless, its water consumption is extremely low, only 0.5 to 1 liter. It relies on the air pressure difference between the toilet and the sewage pipe system to allow fecal sewage to enter the storage or treatment device, making it very suitable for water-scarce areas or places requiring water conservation and environmental protection.

These waterless ecological toilets not only solve the water demand problem of traditional water-flushing toilets but also achieve effective waste treatment and environmental protection through biological degradation, resource recycling, and other technological means.
