Mobile Toilet Water System Construction Plan

Admin October 11, 2026

The construction plan for the water system of mobile toilets should be designed according to the type and installation conditions. Common plans include the installation of water-circulating mobile toilets and the drainage installation of simple mobile toilets. The specific construction points are as follows:

I. Installation Plan for Water-Circulating Mobile Toilets

  1. Pre-installation Preparation

    • Site Survey: Select a flat area with solid soil, avoid low-lying areas prone to water accumulation, and evaluate the power access conditions.
    • Foundation Treatment: Use a concrete foundation or prefabricated cement slab to ensure the ground is flat and free of overhangs, and distribute the load to prevent settlement.
    • Equipment Inspection: Check the integrity of core components such as the water circulation treatment unit, water storage tank, toilet, and pipes, and confirm the accuracy of the installation drawings.
  2. Main Body Installation and Pipe Connection

    • Box Fixation: After the box is in place, use a level to adjust it to a horizontal state, and anchor it with anchor bolts or wind-resistant fixing straps.
    • Unit Installation: The water circulation unit needs to reserve operating space, maintain a ventilated environment, and avoid moisture or high temperatures.
    • Pipe System:
      • Install a filter on the inlet pipe and check the tightness of the connection after installation;
      • Connect the internal circulation pipes to the toilet, collection tank, treatment unit, and clean water tank according to the flow chart to ensure a reasonable direction.
  3. Technical Points

    • The water circulation system purifies the toilet flushing water through physical and biochemical methods to achieve reuse, significantly reducing water consumption.

II. Drainage Installation Plan for Simple Mobile Toilets

  1. Short-distance Displacement (≤400mm)

    • Use a finished displacement device (oval flat pipe, height about 60mm), chisel out the floor slab 20~40mm and embed it, with one end connected to the original sewage pipe and the other end extending to the target position.
    • Pour the floor and apply waterproofing (height about 20mm), lay tiles (height about 30mm) and then install the toilet, apply PVC special glue at the connection and install a sealing ring.
    • When the displacement distance exceeds 300mm, a slope of more than 3% should be made at the embedded position to facilitate drainage.
  2. Same-floor Drainage Plan

    • Floor Lowering: If the bathroom floor has already been recessed by 250mm~350mm, the layout of the sewage pipes can be directly re-planned, and a slanted tee can be used instead of a straight tee to avoid blockage.
    • Floor Raising: When there is no lowered floor structure, use lightweight blocks to build a high platform of 180mm~200mm, embed a sewage pipe with a diameter of about 110mm and then lay floor tiles.
  3. Inter-floor Drainage Plan

    • It is necessary to negotiate with the neighbors downstairs to modify the sewage pipes at the top of their bathroom. During the modification, waterproofing must be done properly and a trap must be installed to prevent the backflow of odors.

III. General Construction Precautions

  1. During the construction process, protect the completed waterproof layer and pipes to avoid damage.
  2. Ensure that all pipe connections are well sealed and confirm that the drainage is smooth after water testing.
  3. The construction period is expected to be 2-3 days depending on the scale and site conditions.
