Mobile Toilet Concert

Admin September 28, 2026

Mobile toilets are crucial facilities for ensuring the smooth operation of concerts, and their planning, configuration, and operation all require scientific design.

I. Planning Phase
It is necessary to comprehensively calculate the total number of spectators, gender ratio, event duration, and venue layout. For example, calculate the total number of standard toilet stalls based on one stall per 500 people, and recommend a male-to-female stall ratio of 1:1.5 to avoid long queues for female toilets. Key areas such as entrances/exits, near the stage, and dining areas should have additional toilet stalls, while avoiding emergency evacuation routes and power lines to ensure safety and convenience.

II. Equipment Selection and Configuration
It is essential to balance functionality with site constraints. The ventilation system must ensure air circulation, and the capacity of the sewage storage tank must match the usage frequency and cleaning cycle to prevent overflow. For physical placement, choose a location with a solid foundation and easy access for cleaning vehicles. Ensure the ground is level during installation, secure with expansion screws, add a sunshade or rainproof facility on top, and maintain a passage width of no less than 1.2 meters for wheelchair access. Toilet stalls should be located within 50 meters of the audience seating area, avoiding low-lying areas prone to water accumulation and strong wind zones.

III. Logistics and Installation
Coordinate transportation routes and arrival times to ensure quick equipment positioning, water supply connection (if applicable), securing, and initial testing. Reserve spare equipment or modules on-site and dynamically adjust the number of toilet stalls in high-traffic areas based on real-time crowd data to meet sudden demands.

IV. Operation, Maintenance, and Cleaning
Maintenance includes regular inspections, replenishing toilet paper and hand soap, and checking equipment status. Cleaning requires predicting when the sewage storage tank will be full and scheduling dedicated vehicles for nighttime or early morning operations to transport waste to designated disposal sites. Supporting facilities such as trash bins, lighting, and emergency call buttons must be complete. In hot weather, add cooling fans, and in cold regions, provide heating facilities.

V. Flow and Signage Design
Use arrow signs to guide pedestrian flow and avoid cross congestion. Place clear "Men" and "Women" signs in prominent locations and add reflective strips at night. Add mobile handwashing stations near dining areas, keeping them at least 10 meters away from toilet areas to prevent sewage mixing.

VI. Withdrawal and Site Restoration
After the event, remove equipment in an orderly manner, clean installation sites, and restore the venue to its original condition to avoid environmental issues.
