Mobile Toilet Air Outlet
The design and installation of air outlets for mobile toilets require comprehensive consideration of location, equipment, piping, auxiliary devices, and product types. The specific key points are as follows:

1. Location Selection
The air outlet should be positioned away from areas where people are active, preferably installed at the top of the toilet or high on the side wall, at a height of more than 1.8 meters above the ground, to avoid direct sunlight and rain. For outdoor rental scenarios, the location should be selected based on natural ventilation conditions, avoiding low-lying areas or the leeward side of buildings, and adjusting the toilet orientation according to local wind patterns. For example, in summer, the air inlet should face southeast to introduce natural airflow, while in winter, it should be adjusted to the leeward side to reduce cold air intrusion.
2. Ventilation Equipment Configuration
For a single mobile toilet, it is recommended to install a small exhaust fan with a power of ≥5W. For large toilets used by multiple people, dual fans in parallel can be used to ensure an air exchange rate of 8-10 times per hour. For single toilet compartments, axial fans or centrifugal fans with an air volume of 15-20 cubic meters per minute are typically selected, which can meet ventilation needs while controlling energy consumption. The equipment power should match the toilet size to avoid odor retention due to insufficient air volume.
3. Piping Layout Optimization
The exhaust piping should be designed to be short and straight, with fewer bends to reduce ventilation resistance. When multiple toilets are rented side by side, a centralized exhaust main pipe can be used for connection, with air volume control valves installed on each branch pipe for independent control of ventilation volume. The pipe diameter is recommended to be no less than 10 centimeters to ensure smooth airflow and avoid reduced exhaust efficiency due to a small pipe diameter.
4. Auxiliary Device Installation
Rainproof louvers should be installed at the pipe outlet to prevent rainwater from flowing back and damaging the equipment; when installing the fan, rainproof louvers and insect screens should be added to extend the equipment's service life. For odor issues, activated carbon filter cotton or photocatalyst filters can be installed in front of the exhaust fan. In summer in Xinxiang, mosquito screens can also be installed at the air inlet. Additionally, activated carbon adsorption devices or deodorizing liquid sprays can be used in combination, and the internal exhaust fan can adopt an “upper supply and lower exhaust” airflow pattern to form air convection and enhance deodorization effects.
5. Product Type Selection
There are various types of air outlets for mobile toilets, and the choice should be based on actual needs. For example, plastic louvers cost about 36 yuan per piece and are suitable for economical scenarios; air-conditioning aluminum alloy swirl outlets cost about 17 yuan each (minimum purchase of 30) and have high ventilation efficiency; wrought iron louvers cost about 300 yuan per square meter and are durable but have a higher cost. When selecting, it is necessary to balance performance, cost, and maintenance convenience.
