Mobile Toilets for Parade Events

Admin September 20, 2026

Mobile toilets are an important measure to solve toilet problems during parade events.

I. Quantity and Types
In large-scale parade events, the number of mobile toilets deployed is scientifically planned according to actual needs. For example, at the site of the 70th anniversary celebration of National Day, Beijing Sanitation Group arranged a total of 596 mobile toilets around Tiananmen Square and along Chang'an Avenue, including 3,540 newly produced toilet compartments and 1,505 repaired ones. These compartments, through modular design, can be quickly assembled or disassembled to meet the toilet needs of a large number of people in a short period during the parade.

II. Distribution Design
The layout of mobile toilets needs to comprehensively consider the number of participants, the event area, and the flow of people. For example, tent toilets with milky-white roofs are placed in the core areas with the highest foot traffic to shorten the time users spend searching for toilets; trailer-mounted toilets (resembling cars) are deployed in open areas for flexible adjustment of positions according to on-site conditions; and single toilets are installed near narrow alleys to fill the blind spots that fixed toilets cannot cover. This tiered layout ensures convenience of use in different scenarios.

III. Technological Advantages
Modern mobile toilets are generally equipped with advanced sewage treatment systems that carry out harmless treatment of excreta through biological degradation, chemical treatment, or physical filtration to reduce environmental pollution. For example, some toilets adopt recycled water technology, using treated water for flushing to achieve efficient utilization of water resources. In addition, environmentally friendly materials such as antibacterial plastics and easy-to-clean coatings are used inside the toilets for quick disinfection and to reduce the risk of cross-infection.

IV. Facility Configuration
Basic mobile toilets are usually equipped with facilities such as toilets or squat pans, sinks, and mirrors to meet basic usage needs; high-end models are further upgraded with the addition of air conditioners, heaters, ventilation systems, etc., to enhance user comfort. For example, in extreme weather conditions, temperature control equipment can prevent the interior of the toilet from becoming too hot or too cold, ensuring a good user experience. These designs reflect the transition of mobile toilets from being merely 'functional' to 'human-oriented'.

V. Environmental Protection and Sustainability
The environmental protection features of mobile toilets are not only reflected in sewage treatment but also involve energy utilization. Some models are powered by solar panels to reduce dependence on traditional energy sources; the detachable structure allows toilet components to be reused, reducing resource waste. These characteristics make them an important part of the green support for large-scale events.
