Dadukou Intelligent Mobile Toilet
Dadukou has made progress in intelligent mobile toilets in various aspects, including intelligent renovation pilot projects, service upgrades for workers' havens, and mobile toilet procurement.
In terms of intelligent renovation pilot projects, Dadukou selected the public toilet at Huashitan on Binjiang Road as the pilot site. The exterior of the public toilet is equipped with an electronic display screen that serves multiple functions. It can update in real-time the number of available squatting positions in both the men's and women's toilets, allowing citizens to quickly understand the toilet usage situation and avoid blind waiting. Additionally, it displays environmental monitoring information such as indoor temperature, humidity, odor level, and PM2.5 concentration, providing citizens with an intuitive understanding of the internal environment of the public toilet. A QR code is placed in the bottom-right corner of the screen, enabling citizens to scan and view the specific locations and quantities of nearby public toilets, further enhancing convenience. Inside the public toilet, smart sensors are installed above the door of each squatting position to accurately detect their usage status. Environmental monitoring terminals are hung on the walls to monitor and provide feedback on environmental data in real-time. Furthermore, the smart sensing devices are equipped with a 'face-scanning' paper dispensing function, which not only facilitates paper dispensing for citizens but also reduces paper waste to a certain extent.
Regarding service upgrades for workers' havens, Dadukou selected a total of eight workers' havens, including Shuangshan Love Park, Xinbaolong, and Yijie District, and achieved 24-hour operation by installing smart sensing devices. These smart devices can transmit data back to the platform in real-time for statistics, providing valuable references and insights for the subsequent wider promotion of intelligent mobile toilets and contributing to the overall improvement of urban public services.
In terms of mobile toilet procurement, Dadukou conducted mobile public toilet procurement in 2024. The winning supplier was Chongqing Yuanyuexin Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., with a winning bid amount of 684,800.00 yuan. Two four-squatting-position vacuum environmental protection toilets were purchased. These vacuum environmental protection toilets have advantages such as environmental protection and water conservation, better meeting the usage needs of urban public toilets and reflecting Dadukou's emphasis on environmental protection concepts in mobile toilet construction.
