Detailed Installation of Concrete Prefabricated Houses

Admin September 18, 2026

The detailed installation process for concrete prefabricated houses is as follows:

1. Preparation Stage

Before installation, all prefabricated components must be rigorously inspected to ensure that their dimensions, specifications, and strength meet design requirements. It is crucial to verify that the positions of reserved sleeves and reinforcing bars align with the design drawings. Additionally, materials such as cement mortar and tools like lifting equipment must be prepared. When purchasing products, choose reputable manufacturers. The reinforcing bars in prefabricated slabs should be prestressed, and the concrete strength should meet or exceed the C30 standard. Inspect the appearance for any cracks, honeycombing, or other defects.

2. Foundation Treatment

Select a site and perform foundation treatment by pouring a concrete base or strip foundation. Ensure the foundation is level, solid, and free of debris or weak soil layers. Implement waterproofing and moisture-proofing measures according to design requirements. Measure and adjust the dimensions and elevations of each position based on the design drawings. The foundation treatment should reasonably determine the size, depth, and shape of the foundation according to the building's weight load and geological conditions to effectively disperse and transfer the pressure from the superstructure and ensure overall stability.

3. Component Lifting and Connection

  1. Installation of Prefabricated Columns: Lift the columns in the order of foot columns, side columns, and central columns, using the axis and outer contour lines as control lines. The outer contour lines are the primary reference for side and corner columns.
  2. Installation of Prefabricated Shear Wall Panels: Follow the principle of installing exterior walls first. Prioritize lifting panels connected to cast-in-place sections, using both axis and contour lines for control. When filling wall panels in sections, use bedding mortar for sectioning. The thickness of the grouting material for multi-story shear walls should not exceed 20mm.
  3. Installation of Prefabricated Beams, Composite Slabs, and Composite Beams: Install main beams before secondary beams and lower components before higher ones. After lifting composite slabs, check the height difference and width of the bottom seams. If they do not meet requirements, re-lift and adjust. Temporary supports should only be removed after the strength of the poured concrete meets design requirements.
During the lifting and connection process, bolted connections or sleeve grouting can be used to enhance structural integrity. Sealants should be used to fill wall gaps and prevent leakage.

4. Inspection and Cleaning

After installation, conduct a comprehensive inspection of the house's appearance. Remove excess materials to ensure a clean and aesthetically pleasing finish before putting the house into use.
