Volkswagen's software subsidiary makes a splash at CES

Employees at CARIAD, the automotive software powerhouse of the Volkswagen Group, are excited about the impact of their eye-catching BB2 modular booth, custom-built for a standout CES debut.

Competition for attention at CES is fierce. Brands spend heavily to catch the eye. Even having the word "Volkswagen" on your booth is no guarantee of standing out at a globally influential tech event. CARIAD knew they needed our company as their exhibition hall partner, because the modular structure would be the cornerstone of CARIAD's technology platform launch—the software foundation for Volkswagen's new vehicle programs, a true paradigm shift poised to transform the auto industry.

The unit is a three-story container array purpose-built for the interior of the U.S. Convention Center. A three-color design and striking modular geometry help distinguish different functional components across the modules. A VIP meeting room sits at the top of the building, overlooking the West Hall convention center and fellow exhibitors. More importantly, CARIAD's towering mobile building is visible from across the entire West Hall, with its large conference audience.

A coffee lounge sits at the entrance to the structure and leads into different collaborative workspaces inside the mobile modular building. Three new Volkswagen models are displayed in front of BB2. Stylish furniture and creative lighting leave visitors with the impression of a dreamlike high-tech environment—an atmosphere well suited to a mission-critical software launch.
