There have indeed been multiple cases of mobile toilet theft in Anhui. Here are the detailed introductions to the relevant cases:

In Hefei, Anhui, incidents of mobile toilet theft occur from time to time. For example, Mr. Jiang once reported to the police that his brand-new, unused mobile toilet, worth over 5,000 yuan, placed by the roadside, had been stolen. After investigation, the police found the mobile toilet covered with a white woven bag behind a supermarket and successfully recovered the stolen item.

In another case, the Daxing Police Station in Hefei, Anhui, received a report from the public that the movable public sanitation facilities at the intersection of Tianmen Mountain Road and Longgang Road were missing. After investigation, the police found the stolen mobile toilet at the doorstep of a woman named Xia. Xia admitted that due to the large number of people in her family and insufficient toilets, she had conspired with others to steal the mobile public toilet. She also tried to deny it, claiming that she thought the toilet was old and unused by others.

Another case occurred near Longgang Road in Yaohai District. Mr. Jiang reported that his two-person mobile toilet, weighing several hundred kilograms and worth several thousand yuan, which had just been completed and was ready for delivery, had been stolen from his doorstep. After investigation, the suspect, Xia, was a female resident of the community. Due to the large number of people in her family, inconvenience in using the toilet in the morning, and the long time it took for the elderly to use the toilet, she had set her sights on this mobile toilet. On the day of the incident, she conspired with two customers to commit the theft late at night and placed the stolen mobile toilet at her doorstep for the elderly to use. Currently, Xia has been taken into compulsory measures, and the case is under further investigation.

These cases reflect that mobile toilet theft often stems from personal needs or greed. However, regardless of the reason, theft is an illegal act and will be punished by law. As public facilities or personal property, mobile toilets are protected by law in terms of ownership and usage rights. Any act of taking or damaging mobile toilets without permission may constitute illegal acts such as theft or destruction of public or private property, and the perpetrators will have to bear corresponding legal responsibilities. Therefore, we should respect the property rights of others, abide by laws and regulations, and jointly maintain social harmony and stability.
