Tongzhou Xiji Major Event Emergency Shelter

Located in Tongzhou Xiji, the project brought together 6 companies, including Chengdong, and 8 trades working in parallel. At peak, more than 200 construction personnel were on site. Overcoming complex coordination challenges, the team completed the main structure of 34 Phase I buildings in just 30 days—more than 40% shorter than a typical emergency construction cycle.

Functions cover full-scenario emergency needs, with verifiable capacity figures: 3,500 approved beds and 1,300 open beds. Built to Class I emergency shelter standards, effective shelter area is no less than 3.5㎡ per person and can meet emergency resettlement needs for more than 2,000 people for 30 days or longer. For major events such as large conferences and important competitions, medical needs can be answered within 3 minutes and emergency response completed within 10 minutes.

From site layout to facility configuration, the project strictly follows the Technical Specification for Modular Emergency Infectious Disease Hospital Buildings. Modular components achieved a 100% incoming-inspection pass rate, and 100% of steel-structure welds passed UT (ultrasonic testing), using data to lock in a safety baseline.
