Zhangpu Builds Mobile Toilets

Admin September 21, 2026

In recent years, Zhangpu County has actively promoted the construction of mobile toilets, significantly optimizing the layout and service functions of urban public toilets through new additions and renovations.

I. Number and Distribution of New Mobile Public Toilets

Zhangpu County has added multiple mobile public toilets along the main roads and in areas with high pedestrian traffic in the county seat. For example, recently, six new mobile public toilets have been installed along main roads such as beside Daozhou Middle School, Xingjiao Temple, the Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, beside the Country Garden Royal River Mansion, and beside the High-Speed Railway Station. Once operational, the total number of mobile public toilets in the urban area will reach 52. Additionally, the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau has focused on "supplementary construction and upgrading" by adding eight new public toilets in areas such as the east side of South First Road, beside the Jinlu Bridge on the Suidong Stream, the north side of Jinpu Avenue, the north side of Dating Road, and Qingquan Rock in Dananban, with five of them being mobile public toilets. These toilets are strategically located in high-traffic areas such as transportation hubs, schools, commercial districts, and scenic spots, effectively alleviating the problem of "difficulty in finding toilets" for residents.

II. Design Principles and Functional Optimization

The newly added mobile public toilets adhere to the principles of "practicality, convenience, aesthetics, and environmental protection," with internal structural optimizations emphasizing functionality and comfort. For example, they are equipped with professional deodorization devices that reduce odors through air purification technology; basic sanitary facilities such as sinks and grooming mirrors are installed to meet daily needs; and call bells are provided to ensure the safety of special groups (such as the elderly and children). Furthermore, the toilet designs comply with water-saving, energy-saving, and environmental protection standards, utilizing low-flow flushing devices, energy-efficient lighting, and eco-friendly materials to reduce resource consumption and environmental pollution.

III. Social Benefits and Future Plans

The addition of mobile public toilets has not only enhanced the level of urban public services but also improved the sanitary environment through scientific layout. Their flexible mobility allows for easy relocation according to actual needs, accommodating temporary events or emergencies. In the future, Zhangpu County may continue to optimize the distribution of public toilets in line with urban development needs and explore intelligent management solutions (such as real-time monitoring of usage status and automatic cleaning systems) to continuously improve the experience for residents and the city's image.
