Principle of Yulin Mobile Toilets

Admin September 23, 2026

The principles of Yulin mobile toilets mainly fall into two categories: packaged toilets and integrated mobile restrooms, with core mechanisms based on biodegradable material encapsulation and modular integrated design, respectively.

Principle of Packaged Toilets

The core of packaged toilets lies in "waterless fecal treatment," relying on specially made biodegradable films for operation. When a user uses the toilet, feces directly fall into a packaging bag made of this film. The key steps involve automatic encapsulation and renewal: After use, the built-in mechanical device or microcomputer sensing system immediately activates, tightly sealing the packaging bag that has received feces and sending it into a dedicated fecal storage tank below via a traction device. At the same time, the film on the surface of the toilet seat or squatting pan automatically changes to a new, unused film, creating a continuously clean surface. Odor control is another important design feature: During the encapsulation process, a sealing device is simultaneously activated to completely isolate the fecal storage tank from the external environment, ensuring that odors cannot escape. The entire process requires no water resources, relying solely on physical encapsulation for fecal collection and isolation, making it suitable for water-scarce areas or temporary event scenarios.

Principle of Integrated Mobile Restrooms

Integrated mobile restrooms adopt a modular integrated design, integrating restroom functional units (such as the toilet area, handwashing area, ventilation system, etc.) into a single box structure. Their core principles are divided into three parts:

  1. Factory prefabrication and modular assembly: The main frame, interior decoration, water supply and drainage systems, and electrical systems are all standardized and assembled in the factory, ensuring compatibility and installation efficiency of various components.
  2. Diverse sewage discharge methods: Sewage discharge solutions are selected based on the application scenario. If connected to the municipal sewage network, a direct discharge design is used, with feces and sewage directly entering the network; if in areas without a sewage network, sewage storage tanks or septic tanks are equipped, with feces being treated through regular collection and transportation.
  3. Transportation and on-site adaptability: The box structure facilitates overall transportation. During installation, only water and electricity connections (if needed) are required for quick commissioning, making it suitable for long-term fixed or short-term high-frequency use scenarios.

Both types address the issues of traditional toilets' water resource dependence, odor diffusion, and complex installation through technological innovation, providing flexible and efficient solutions for public sanitation facilities in areas like Yulin.
