Yangzhou Mobile Toilet Fire and Heat Insulation

Admin October 02, 2026

The fire and heat insulation performance of Yangzhou mobile toilets is quite outstanding, mainly achieved through special materials and structural design for efficient protection. The specific manifestations of its fire and heat insulation performance are as follows:

1. Wall material selection: Combination of metal carved panels and fire-resistant sandwich materials
The walls of high-end Yangzhou mobile toilets often use thickened metal carved panels. This material itself has the characteristics of corrosion resistance and impact resistance, and is internally filled with insulation materials such as polyurethane. As a closed-cell structural material, polyurethane not only has excellent thermal insulation performance but can also effectively block the spread of flames. Some professional manufacturers further fill the inner side of the metal panels with fire-resistant and thermal-insulating sandwich materials (such as rock wool or glass wool). These materials do not burn when exposed to fire and can form a thermal insulation layer, delaying the transfer of high temperatures to the interior of the toilet body. In addition, the filling of sandwich materials can also enhance the overall rigidity of the toilet body, avoiding structural deformation caused by external impacts and indirectly improving fire safety.

2. Wall filling process: Extruded boards and Class B fire resistance standards
In the wall filling process, some products use 50mm-thick extruded boards (XPS boards). Extruded boards are made from polystyrene resin as the raw material and are formed by high-temperature extrusion. They have a closed-cell rate of over 99%, a low thermal conductivity coefficient, and significant thermal insulation effects. More importantly, extruded boards can reach Class B fire resistance standards, i.e., the level of difficult-to-burn materials, by adding flame retardants. This means that in an open flame or high-temperature environment, extruded boards will not burn rapidly and can self-extinguish after being removed from the fire, effectively limiting the spread of the fire. This filling method forms dual protection with metal carved panels, ensuring both thermal insulation performance and compliance with fire protection regulations.

3. Structural design optimization: Synergistic effect of thermal insulation layers and air layers
The fire and heat insulation of Yangzhou mobile toilets do not rely solely on materials; structural design is also crucial. For example, the toilet body may adopt a double-wall structure with an air layer or thermal insulation material filled in the middle, forming a 'thermal resistance barrier'. The air layer can reduce heat conduction, while the thermal insulation material (such as ceramic fiber blankets) can further absorb and disperse heat. In addition, the roof and floor may also adopt similar designs, such as laying fire-resistant and thermal insulation boards on the roof and moisture-proof and thermal insulation layers on the floor, ensuring that the overall environment is not affected by external high temperatures or fires.

Summary
Yangzhou mobile toilets achieve dual protection of fire and heat insulation through the wall combination of metal carved panels + fire-resistant sandwich materials, Class B fire-resistant extruded board filling, and multi-layer thermal insulation structural design. These technologies not only meet the fire safety requirements of public places but also maintain a stable internal temperature in extreme weather conditions (such as high temperatures or severe cold), improving user comfort.
