Wuwei Mobile Toilet Installation

Admin September 23, 2026

The installation of mobile toilets in Wuwei should follow the steps and key points below:

Pre-installation Planning and Preparation

  1. Site Assessment and Location Selection
    • Survey the layout of the activity area and choose a location on the edge of a densely populated area or near a passageway for easy access by users.
    • Avoid the upwind side of the activity area to prevent odor diffusion; ensure the ground is flat and solid, close to water supply points or sewage discharge interfaces, or plan routes for water trucks and fecal suction trucks.
  2. Demand and Specification Selection
    • Calculate the number and type of toilets based on the number of participants, event duration, and gender ratio.
    • Single-unit flush or dry toilets are flexible and suitable for small-scale events; trailer-mounted large toilets offer comprehensive functions but require more space and complex connections.
  3. Material and Personnel Preparation
    • Prepare mats (for soft ground), potable water hoses, sewage pipes, tools (wrenches, spirit levels), cleaning supplies, and consumables such as toilet paper and hand soap.
    • Arrange an installation team with knowledge of water and electricity connections and safe operating procedures.

On-site Installation Steps

  1. Site Leveling and Positioning
    • Clear debris and ensure the ground is flat. Lay mats or wooden planks on soft ground to distribute the load.
    • Use measuring tools to determine the positions of toilet units, reserving space between units and for queuing.
  2. Unit Placement and Stabilization
    • Use a forklift or trailer to place toilet units at predetermined positions and immediately check the levelness with a spirit level.
    • Adjust the bottom leveling feet or insert wedges to level the units, ensuring they are stable and do not wobble.
  3. System Connection
    • Water Supply Connection: Connect one end of the hose to a reliable water source (such as a temporary water tank) and the other end to the toilet water inlet, checking the water pressure and venting air from the pipe.
    • Sewage Connection: Connect one end of the sewage pipe to the toilet sewage outlet and the other end to the sewage system, ensuring a tight and leak-free connection.

Other Considerations

  • Pipe Inspection: Before installation, clean debris such as mud and waste paper from the sewage pipes to prevent blockages.
  • Toilet Positioning: Turn over the toilet, mark a cross-center line at the sewage outlet and extend it to the bottom feet to ensure alignment with the center of the sewage pipe.
  • Foot Fixing: Determine the positions of the bottom screws, drill holes with an impact drill, and embed expansion screw sleeves.
  • Sealing Treatment: Install a dedicated sealing ring at the sewage outlet or seal the area around the sewage pipe with silicone sealant or cement mortar (ratio 1:3) to prevent leakage.

After installation, conduct a comprehensive inspection of all connection points to ensure they are secure and sealed, guaranteeing safe and hygienic use.
