Construction Achievements of 'Post-Station-Style' Public Toilets
Wujiagang District has continuously advanced the renovation and construction of 'post-station-style' public toilets, achieving remarkable results. As of now, the entire district has completed the renovation of 54 public toilets, with 7 'post-station-style' public toilets put into use. While meeting the basic toilet functions, they are equipped with urban service posts, providing more convenient services for citizens and outdoor workers.
Specific Examples of 'Post-Station-Style' Public Toilets
- On June 13, 2025, the Qinyuan public toilet and post on Yiling Avenue was officially put into use. The post is equipped with facilities such as refrigerators, water dispensers, and first-aid kits. These facilities provide a place for outdoor workers and citizens to rest and replenish supplies, enabling them to receive timely assistance and rest when needed.
- The 'post-station-style' public toilet beside the Jiuan City bus stop on Heyi Road has also been completed and opened. In addition to meeting toilet functions, this public toilet is equipped with an urban service post that includes a rest area, direct drinking water dispensers, and refrigerators. It also plans to gradually introduce convenient facilities such as mobile phone charging stations and vending machines, further enhancing the service functions and practicality of the public toilet.
Construction of New Public Toilets
Since 2023, Wujiagang District has completed the construction of a total of 47 new public toilets on roads such as Dongzhan Road, Zhongnan Road, and Wulin Road. These new public toilets have not only increased the number of public toilets, alleviating the problem of citizens' difficulty in finding toilets, but also provided more foundations and space for the construction of 'post-station-style' public toilets.
Construction of Smart Public Toilets
Since this year, Wujiagang District has completed the construction tasks of 3 smart public toilets. Smart public toilets may employ advanced technologies and equipment, such as intelligent sensing systems and air purification systems, which can provide a more comfortable, convenient, and hygienic toilet environment, further improving the service quality and management level of public toilets.
