Where is the Switch for the Mobile Toilet
The location of the switch for mobile toilets varies depending on the type, as detailed below:

Manual Mobile Toilets
Commonly found in households and some public places. For household manual mobile toilets, the switch is usually located on the wall directly above or to the side above the squat toilet tank, often in the form of a round or square button. Some older designs feature a metal or plastic lever. In public places, the switches for manual mobile toilets are mostly installed on the walls inside the toilet stalls, generally at a height that is easily reachable from behind or to the side of the elbow when a person is squatting, facilitating user operation. However, the flush switches for toilets on some older trains are quite unique, being iron buttons located on the floor directly below the squat position, requiring users to look down and step on them when in use.
Foot-Pedal Mobile Toilets
This type is widely used in public places such as hospitals, schools, and office buildings. The switch is a foot pedal, usually installed at the bottom or to the side directly in front of the squat toilet. Users simply need to step on the foot pedal to trigger the flushing mechanism and complete the flushing operation. This design prevents users from touching the switch with their hands, making it more hygienic and especially suitable for places with high hygiene requirements.
Sensor-Based Mobile Toilets
The switch for sensor-based mobile toilets is generally installed on the wall above or to the side above the squat toilet, with its core component being a sensor probe. When a person enters the sensing area, the device will automatically trigger flushing after a delay of 1 - 3 seconds upon their departure. Some newer models also perform a pre-flush before use to moisten the inner walls of the toilet and reduce dirt adhesion. Moreover, the vast majority of sensor flushers are equipped with a backup manual flush button, usually located on the side or below the sensor body. When the sensing device malfunctions or a forced flush is required, users can press and hold this button for about 3 seconds to forcibly initiate the flushing program.
Simple Mobile Toilets
Some simple mobile toilets have a rather unique switch design. There are two black balls below them. Stepping on one of the black balls will automatically flush the squat toilet, while stepping on the other will turn on the faucet. This design is simple and intuitive, allowing users to quickly grasp the usage method without complex operating instructions.
