Usage Methods of Mobile Toilets
The usage methods of mobile toilets vary depending on their types. Here are the usage methods for common types of mobile toilets:

Portable Mobile Toilets: Before use, it is necessary to fix the toilet's position to ensure its stability. This type of toilet is designed with a buckle structure. Pressing the buckle can release and remove related components (such as the black water tank or the toilet pan). When using, simply open the toilet lid and pull out the pan for excretion; the toilet can be pre-filled with clean water for flushing waste. After use, press the buckle again to remove the components, separate the black water tank (the container for storing waste) from the movable joint at the bottom, and directly pour out the waste and clean the container. This type of toilet is suitable for temporary or individual use, with simple operation and easy cleaning.
Common Color-Steel Plate Rectangular Mobile Toilets: These toilets are usually equipped with facilities such as squat pits, washbasins, and exhaust fans. There are two types of sewage discharge: direct discharge and fecal tank.
- Direct Discharge Type: It needs to be connected to an external sewage pipe, and waste is directly discharged into the municipal sewage system or septic tank through the pipe. The usage method is similar to that of a fixed toilet, but attention should be paid to the sealing of the sewage pipe joint.
- Fecal Tank Type: Waste is stored in a built-in fecal tank and needs to be cleaned regularly. When using, there is no need for additional pipe connections, but the capacity of the fecal tank should be checked regularly to avoid overflow. Some models are equipped with a flushing system and need to be connected to a water source; models without a flushing system require manual cleaning.
Other Types of Mobile Toilets: Further subdivided based on structure, mobility method, or sewage treatment method, the usage methods need to be combined with specific types:
- Structural Form: A single-unit mobile toilet is an independent unit that can be used directly after placement; a composite-structure mobile toilet is composed of multiple units and needs to be assembled according to the instructions.
- Mobility Method: Lifting and handling types need to be moved by mechanical equipment; powered and towed types can be connected to a vehicle for traction and movement.
- Sewage Treatment Method:
- Water-Flush Type: It needs to be connected to a water source and sewage pipe, and the usage method is the same as that of a fixed toilet.
- Waterless Suction Type: Waste is sucked into a fecal storage tank by a vacuum pump and needs to be cleaned regularly.
- Recirculating Water-Flush Type: Equipped with a sewage treatment system, it filters and purifies waste and recirculates it for flushing. It requires regular maintenance of the filter element and replenishment of the water source. Some mobile toilets have a sewage outlet at the rear, equipped with a 110mm sewage pipe and a 25mm water inlet pipe. After placement, they can be used directly by connecting to the pipes. Before operation, it is necessary to confirm that the joint specifications match.
Precautions: Before use, check the stability of the equipment, water source, and sewage connection; regularly clean the fecal storage tank or black water tank to avoid odors and blockages; choose the appropriate mobility method for mobile toilets according to their types to avoid damaging the structure.
