Prefabrication of Steel Structure House Foundations

Admin September 17, 2026

The key to prefabricating steel structure house foundations lies in the use of professional molds and standardized construction processes, which together ensure foundation quality and construction efficiency.

1. Key Equipment: Steel Structure Foundation Pier Molds

  1. Material and Process
The mold body is made of Q235 low-alloy high-strength steel, with a panel thickness of 8-12mm. It is formed through CNC precision cutting and multiple welding processes, combined with a reinforcing rib design, providing excellent compressive strength and rigidity to withstand the impact of high-slump concrete pouring. The inner wall is finely polished and treated with an anti-stick coating, with joint gaps less than 0.2mm, ensuring excellent sealing to prevent slurry leakage and ensuring the flatness of the pier surface.

  2. Precision and Specifications
The mold size error is controlled within ±1mm, allowing for precise alignment with steel structure installation without secondary trimming. Standard specifications range from 600×600×800mm to 2000×2000×3000mm, supporting customization for circular, irregular shapes, and embedded part reservations, adapting to various engineering scenarios.

  3. Efficiency and Durability
The mold adopts a modular split design, connected with spring clips for easy and efficient assembly and demolding without the need for heavy equipment. After hot-dip galvanizing for corrosion resistance, it exhibits outstanding weather resistance and can be reused more than 300 times under proper use, with simple maintenance, significantly improving construction efficiency and reducing overall costs.

2. Construction Process: Standardized Operating Steps

  1. Foundation Pit Treatment
Moisten the excavated foundation pit with water and lay a thick layer of concrete as a bedding to provide a flat foundation for subsequent construction.

  2. Reinforcement Cage Installation
Accurately place the prefabricated reinforcement cage and ensure its position is correct using a verticality detection tool to avoid load transfer deviations in the superstructure.

  3. Leveling and Reinforcement
Water the trench and add stones for leveling to form a stable foundation layer. This step enhances the foundation's bearing capacity and prevents local settlement.

  4. Concrete Pouring and Curing
Use the prefabricated mold for concrete pouring, leveraging the mold's sealing and precision to ensure the quality of the pier's formation. After pouring, cure the concrete according to specifications to ensure it reaches the required strength.

By combining professional molds with standardized construction processes, the prefabrication of steel structure house foundations can achieve efficient, precise, and durable goals, providing stable support for the superstructure.
