Smart Mobile Toilet Production
Admin September 24, 2026
Smart mobile toilets can achieve basic functions through manual modification of water storage barrels or tanks, and can be upgraded to smart types by integrating intelligent modules.

Plan 1: Mobile Toilet Modified from a Water Storage Barrel
Basic Structure Construction
- Split a large water storage barrel vertically in the middle, retaining the semi-circular barrel body as the main space.
- Install caster wheels at the bottom of the barrel for easy mobility; secure the bottom with wooden planks to enhance stability; reinforce and elevate the upper side of the barrel with wooden strips, cut out a doorway on the side, and install sponge strips as door frame buffers.
Wall and Roof Design
- Embed plastic soft panels as elevated walls to increase internal space; use the upper part of the barrel directly as the roof, apply waterproof paint on the surface to enhance durability and improve appearance.
Functional Device Installation
- Drainage System: Drill holes at the bottom of the barrel to install drainage pipes, forming a floor drain; drill holes on the side to connect direct fittings, place a plastic bucket on top as a water storage device, and connect it to the toilet tank via water pipes.
- Bathing Function: Connect water pipes to create a simple shower heater, install a toilet and secure the tank; extend the drainage pipe to an external sewage bucket, and simultaneously lead a water pipe from the sewage bucket to the doorway as the inlet pipe for the sink.
Plan 2: Mobile Toilet Combined from a Water Storage Tank and a Pallet
Basic Structure Construction
- Install caster wheels at the bottom of a plastic pallet, place a recycled water storage tank, and cut the top of the tank to form an opening.
- Stack two open tanks, secure the outer frame with self-tapping screws, and cut out a rectangular doorway measuring 180 cm in height and 50 cm in width to ensure easy access for personnel.
Functional Device Installation
- Toilet System: Drill holes in the internal floor to install elbows and water pipes, connect the toilet and secure it with glue; secure the water pipes with wall clips, and install a faucet and a stainless steel sink.
- Bathing System: Connect the toilet tank, shower hose, and showerhead to achieve a simple shower function.
- Door Design: Install hinges and wooden planks as the door on the water storage tank frame, add a door handle to enhance sealing and usability.
Smart Upgrade Recommendations
To achieve smart functions, the following modules can be added based on the above plans:
- Automatic Flushing System: Install infrared sensors or pressure sensors to automatically trigger flushing after detection of use.
- Environmental Monitoring: Integrate temperature and humidity sensors, ammonia sensors to monitor the internal environment in real-time and upload data via IoT modules.
- Solar Power Supply: Install solar panels on the roof to supply power to sensors, lighting, and other devices, reducing energy consumption.
Both plans achieve the core functions of mobile toilets through manual modification, with low costs and strong operability, suitable for temporary or emergency scenarios.
