Shawan Mobile Toilet Renovation
Shawan has implemented a variety of effective measures in the renovation of mobile toilets, covering aspects such as construction methods, environmental protection technologies, intelligent management, and facility configurations.

In terms of construction methods, the newly added "Hui Min Smart Toilet" in the Moruo Drama Cultural and Creative Park in Shawan District adopts a modular construction approach. All components are prefabricated in the factory and then transported to the site for assembly, taking only 3 to 4 hours to complete. This construction method not only improves construction efficiency but also facilitates subsequent maintenance and upgrades.
Regarding environmental protection technologies, the "Hui Min Smart Toilet" utilizes fermentation bed mixing technology to mix feces with bacteria for treatment. It uses only one-fifth of the water compared to traditional toilets, and its sewage discharge can meet the tertiary emission standards for urban sewage, effectively reducing water consumption and environmental pollution.
Intelligent management is a major highlight of Shawan's mobile toilet renovation. The "Hui Min Smart Toilet" employs Internet of Things (IoT) technology, integrating air quality monitoring systems, alarm systems, maintenance and repair systems, etc. Through these systems, the air quality inside the toilet can be monitored in real-time, enabling the timely detection and handling of abnormal situations to safeguard the health and safety of users. Additionally, it is equipped with an LED large screen for publicity and features a versatile "Smart Space," enhancing the functionality and interest of the toilet.
In terms of facility configurations, Shawan City in Tacheng Prefecture has invested 10 million yuan to add 20 free public toilets in the urban area. These toilets have a simple and aesthetically pleasing exterior and a clean and tidy interior. They are equipped with odor index monitoring and toilet stall occupancy monitoring systems, enabling automatic flushing after use. Each toilet stall is installed with a shelf for users to place their belongings conveniently. Furthermore, barrier-free rooms are set up, equipped with handrails, children's chairs, baby care beds, and other facilities, fully considering the needs of different groups of people and reflecting a human-centered design. The newly added public toilets are mainly distributed in key areas with high foot traffic, such as commercial districts, parks, and schools, and are open 24 hours a day for free. Professional cleaning staff are also assigned to ensure daily cleaning and maintenance, providing citizens with a more convenient and comfortable toilet environment.
