Restaurant Portable Toilet
A restaurant portable toilet is a movable sanitation facility designed to meet the restroom needs of dining establishments, suitable for both temporary and permanent locations such as restaurant entrances. The following provides a detailed introduction in terms of structural form, materials, functional configurations, and sewage treatment methods:

Structural Form
Restaurant portable toilets come in two main structural forms: single-unit and composite. The single-unit structure is an independent compartment, typically containing only one toilet stall, suitable for small dining venues with dispersed foot traffic, such as street-side snack bars or café entrances. The composite structure, on the other hand, forms multiple toilet stalls through modular assembly and can be equipped with facilities like handwashing stations and mop sinks to meet the high-frequency usage demands of medium to large dining establishments. For example, an outdoor large-scale portable toilet can measure up to 3 meters by 6 meters, with a handwashing area in the middle, two female toilet stalls with mop sinks on the right, and two male urinals on the left, all equipped with partitions to ensure privacy.
Material Selection
The main frame is generally made of steel to ensure stability and durability, capable of withstanding frequent relocation or long-term use. The exterior wall materials are often galvanized steel sheets or stainless steel sheets, offering both rust resistance and aesthetic appeal; the interior is insulated with rock wool or polyurethane to adapt to different climatic conditions. The floor is laid with non-slip flooring and paired with a waterproof layer to prevent water accumulation or slipping; doors and windows are made of aluminum alloy profiles with insulated tempered glass, ensuring both lighting and safety.
Functional Configurations
Basic configurations include lighting systems, electrical outlets, distribution boxes, and exhaust fans to meet fundamental usage needs. Some high-end models can be equipped with inverter air conditioners to enhance comfort in summer or winter. Additionally, based on the hygiene requirements of dining establishments, some portable toilets are also equipped with ultraviolet disinfection lamps or automatic air fresheners to further optimize the user experience.
Sewage Treatment Methods
According to different treatment technologies, restaurant portable toilets can be classified into four categories:
- Water-flush and waterless suction types: These treat excreta through water tank flushing or vacuum suction, requiring regular cleaning of the sewage tank;
- Recirculating water-flush type: This utilizes biodegradation technology to purify sewage, enabling water resource recycling and reducing water consumption;
- Dry-pack type: This uses biodegradable plastic bags to collect excreta, requiring no water, suitable for water-scarce or highly environmentally conscious locations.
These classifications offer dining establishments flexible options, allowing them to balance cost and environmental friendliness based on actual needs.
