Outdoor Mobile Portable Toilet

Admin October 10, 2026

An outdoor mobile portable toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and provides temporary toilet services to the public. The following is an introduction from the aspects of composition, classification, characteristics, and application scenarios:

Composition: It is generally composed of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), floor slab, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, mobile device, etc. Initially, it was made of materials such as wood, with a simple structure and function and was prone to absorbing odors. Later, it gradually developed to use materials such as fiberglass-reinforced plastic and polyethylene.

Classification:

  • By structural form: It can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. The single-structure type is relatively independent and simple, while the composite-structure type may be composed of multiple parts, offering advantages in terms of function or space utilization.
  • By moving method: It can be divided into lifting and handling-type mobile toilets and powered and towed-type mobile toilets. The lifting and handling type is suitable for short-distance and small-scale movement; the powered and towed type can use vehicle power sources to achieve long-distance movement.
  • By sewage treatment method: It can be divided into water-flushing and non-water-flushing suction-type mobile toilets, circulating water-flushing mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets. The water-flushing and non-water-flushing suction types can handle sewage in a timely manner; the circulating water-flushing type can save water resources; the dry-packing type does not require water and handles feces through packing.

Characteristics: It has the advantages of being movable, combinable, and easy to transport. It can be conveniently transported to any place where toilets need to be set up and can be used repeatedly. It can also flexibly adjust its position and quantity according to different needs.

Application scenarios: It originated from people's temporary and phased needs for toilets in specific occasions. Due to the shortage and unreasonable layout of urban public toilets, the government has set up mobile public toilets in areas where it is relatively difficult to build fixed public toilets to make up for the deficiencies in the quantity and layout of public toilets. In addition, there are also relevant cases in some scenic spots. For example, a customized toilet in a scenic spot with an area of less than 6 square meters has an extraordinary configuration. It has a layout of three single rooms, uses waterproof and flame-retardant metal carved panels and steel integrated doors, and the exterior wall adopts a ridged roof with waterproof asphalt shingles and a galvanized square steel frame.
