Qinghai Mobile Toilet Solution

Admin October 10, 2026

The Qinghai mobile toilet solution needs to incorporate modular design, energy-saving and environmentally friendly technologies, and targeted functional configurations based on the environmental characteristics of alpine cold, arid, and ecologically sensitive areas. The specific solution is as follows:

I. Design Types and Applicable Scenarios

Mobile toilets are divided into three categories to meet the needs of different regions:

  1. Scenic Area Standard Type: Suitable for tourist-dense scenic spots such as Qinghai Lake and Chaka Salt Lake, equipped with 3-5 toilet stalls, meeting the daily needs of 300-500 people. It adopts vacuum suction water-saving toilets (6L per use), plateau freeze-proof flushing devices, and MBR membrane bioreactor technology to ensure compliant wastewater discharge.
  2. Highway Service Area Enhanced Type: Designed for strong wind and low-temperature sections such as the Qaidam Basin, with 8-10 toilet stalls, wind resistance rating ≥ Grade 10, and cold resistance down to -30℃. It uses buried integrated wastewater treatment equipment, with a heating system combining wall-mounted diesel heaters and underfloor heating coils, maintaining a temperature of 12-18℃.
  3. Ecological Protection Zone Environmentally Friendly Type: Suitable for ecologically sensitive areas such as the Three-River Source Region, with only 2 toilet stalls, featuring lightweight design (self-weight 1.5t), equipped with diffuse oxygen supply devices (oxygen concentration 23-25%) and microbial degradation technology to minimize environmental impact.

II. Core Technology Configurations

  1. Low-Temperature Freeze-Proof Technology: Pipes are made of 304 stainless steel, wrapped with a 50mm thick centrifugal glass wool insulation layer; the storage tank is equipped with an electric tracing system to ensure normal operation at -30℃. The walls use polyurethane sandwich color steel plates, offering better insulation performance than traditional brick-concrete structures.
  2. Water Conservation and Wastewater Treatment: The vacuum suction system uses air pressure differences to transport waste, requiring only a small amount of water for each cleaning. The scenic area type adopts MBR membrane bioreactor technology, while the service area type is equipped with buried integrated equipment, with discharge standards complying with Grade 1A of the 'Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plants'.
  3. Energy Supply and Environmental Protection: Some designs integrate photovoltaic power supply modules to reduce reliance on external energy sources; microbial degradation technology breaks down organic waste through specific bacterial strains, converting it into neutral residue, with almost no need for external water replenishment.

III. Operational and Maintenance and Adaptability Advantages

Mobile toilets can be quickly deployed and dismantled, avoiding resource idleness during off-seasons; negative pressure exhaust systems and biological deodorizers effectively control odors; female toilet stalls account for 60%, with 1 accessible stall provided for every 10 toilet stalls to meet diverse needs. In ecologically sensitive areas, a replaceable wastewater storage tank model is adopted, with professional vehicles regularly transporting the waste to centralized treatment stations to minimize environmental disturbance.
