Portable Toilets at National Day Square

Portable toilets at National Day Square are temporary sanitation facilities set up to meet the toilet needs of people at the National Day celebration event site, playing an important role in ensuring the smooth progress of the event.

Application in Large-scale Events

In large-scale National Day celebrations, the scale of portable toilet deployment is substantial. For example, at the grand gathering to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, Beijing Environmental Sanitation Group placed 596 portable toilets around Tiananmen Square and along Chang'an Avenue, including 3,540 newly produced toilet stalls and 1,505 repaired ones. Such a large-scale deployment is aimed at addressing the toilet needs generated by the large gathering of people at the event site, ensuring that people can use sanitation facilities normally and conveniently during the event, and preventing toilet-related issues from affecting the order and experience of the event.

Diverse Types and Reasonable Layout

Portable toilets come in a variety of types and are reasonably laid out according to the characteristics of different areas. Tent Toilets: These have milky-white roofs and are placed in areas with the highest foot traffic. Such toilets may have features like flexible setup and large capacity, enabling them to quickly meet the toilet needs of a large number of people and are suitable for placement in the core areas with dense crowds. Trailer Toilets: These resemble cars in shape and are placed in open areas. Their advantage lies in their mobility; they can be flexibly repositioned according to the distribution of people at different stages of the event site, improving usage efficiency. Single Toilets: These are installed near relatively narrow alleys. Due to the limited space in alleys, single toilets are small in size, able to adapt to narrow environments and provide toilet convenience for the surrounding people.

Other Types and Features

In addition to the types used at the National Day event site mentioned above, there are other portable toilets suitable for different scenarios. For example, the wear-resistant new model of square portable toilets from Shanghai Qingshi Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. is made of galvanized steel plates, priced between 9,000.00 and 10,000.00 yuan, and located in Minhang District, Shanghai. There are also portable toilets suitable for public areas such as scenic spots, parks, and streets. These toilets are 9 meters long and 3 meters wide in total, with three independent toilet stalls equipped with barrier-free facilities. On the other side is a management room for storing cleaning tools and office furniture. They are unisex and well-equipped, providing a comfortable and convenient toilet environment for different groups of people.
