Mobile Toilet Without Sewer Pipe
Mobile toilets without sewer pipes can use spatial or technological means to treat or completely seal excreta on-site as an alternative to sewer-based waste disposal. Suitable solutions include the following categories:

Resource Utilization Type: Microbial degradation toilets are a typical example. They utilize aerobic fermentation by microorganisms to break down excreta into water and carbon dioxide, with a small amount of dry residue remaining that can be used as organic fertilizer. These toilets offer advantages such as zero pollution discharge, high water conservation, no need for waste removal, and resource utilization of the by-products. However, they are relatively expensive, require a certain level of user awareness, and the activity of microorganisms decreases at low temperatures, necessitating heated models in cold regions. They are suitable for ecological protection zones, high-end scenic spots, and eco-conscious rural areas.
Physical Sealing Type: This includes waterless packing toilets and recirculating flush toilets. Waterless packing toilets use biodegradable film to seal and pack waste, storing it in a waste storage tank. They are odorless, waterless, and simple in structure, but the consumables are disposable and require regular replacement and removal, making them suitable for temporary construction sites and emergency events. Recirculating flush toilets treat wastewater using microorganisms or chemicals to enable recirculating flushing, saving water and providing an experience close to that of a traditional water flush toilet. However, the initial equipment investment is not low, and water quality maintenance requires professional operation, making them suitable for fixed locations with long-term water scarcity but a desire for a water-flush experience.
Traditional Transitional Type: Three-chamber septic tank toilets achieve preliminary wastewater treatment through three-stage anaerobic fermentation and sedimentation, ultimately discharging into a soakaway pit or requiring periodic removal. They are technologically mature, low-cost, and do not require complex electrical equipment, but they require regular waste removal and can cause groundwater pollution and overflow issues if not properly sited or if removal is not timely. They are suitable for self-use by farmers, cost-sensitive locations that can arrange waste removal, and similar settings.
Zero Discharge Solution Type: Source-separation toilets collect urine and feces separately at the source for individual resource utilization, maximizing resource recovery and significantly reducing treatment difficulty. However, these facilities are not yet widely available and require certain user habits, making them suitable for cutting-edge demonstration zones, research projects, and specific locations with resource recovery requirements.
In addition, intelligent mobile eco-toilets that integrate water, microorganisms, feces storage, and degradation technologies, prefabricated modular eco-public toilets, and Bajing electric macerating toilets with sewage lift pumps can also effectively address toilet construction issues in areas with water but without sewer networks.
