Mobile Toilet Trash Bag Installation

Admin October 10, 2026

The installation of trash bags for mobile toilets requires selecting appropriate methods based on the toilet type. The specific operations are as follows:

I. Installation Method for Packing Toilets

Packing toilets typically use biodegradable plastic bags to automatically seal excrement. When installing, fully insert the dedicated trash bag into the collection bucket, ensuring there are no exposed areas on the inner walls. Fold the edges of the trash bag outward, cover the outside of the bucket's rim, and secure it to prevent slippage during use. After each use, seal the bag's opening either mechanically or manually to prevent odor diffusion. Regularly check the tightness of the trash bag. If any damage or leakage is found, replace it immediately. Also, replace the bag with a new one according to the frequency of use (e.g., daily or after every 3-5 uses) to prevent excrement buildup, which can make cleaning difficult.

II. Installation Method for Bucket Toilets (Simple Type)

Bucket toilets often use 10-20-liter plastic buckets with lids. When installing, first lay a thick trash bag inside the bucket, ensuring complete coverage of the inner walls, and fold the edges outward to secure them outside the bucket. The key step is to lay 2-3 centimeters of absorbent material at the bottom of the bag, such as cat litter, sawdust, or wood shavings. These materials can quickly absorb liquids and suppress odors while preventing excrement from leaking to the bottom of the bucket. During use, regularly replace the absorbent material (recommended every 1-2 days or adjusted according to odor levels). If the trash bag is punctured by sharp objects, replace it immediately and clean up any residue.

III. Universal Installation Method for Trash Cans with Press Rings

Some mobile toilets come with trash cans that have press-ring designs. There are two installation methods:

  1. Outward Folding and Wrapping Method: Pass the opening of the trash bag through the press ring, fold it outward to completely wrap the press ring, and then press it into the bucket. This method prevents the trash bag from slipping and avoids direct contact between excrement and the press ring, reducing cleaning frequency.
  2. Edge Pressing Method: Press the edges of the trash bag under the press ring to secure the bag's opening directly. This method is simpler to operate but requires ensuring the bag's opening is flat to prevent poor sealing due to folds.

IV. Universal Installation Method for Ordinary Trash Cans

For trash cans without press rings, insert the trash bag with the opening facing down into the bucket and gently press the bottom of the bag to slide it to the bottom of the bucket. If the bag's opening blocks the bucket's rim, pinch the bottom of the bag and pull it upward to adjust, ensuring the bag's opening completely covers the rim. Pay attention to matching the trash bag's specifications. If the bag is too small, it may rupture; if too large, it may slip easily.

Precautions:

  • Before installation, select trash bag specifications based on the toilet type (e.g., thickness ≥ 0.03 mm, biodegradable material) to avoid environmental pollution or damage caused by using ordinary plastic bags.
  • For packing toilets, prioritize using trash bags with automatic sealing functions to reduce the risk of manual operation contamination.
  • For bucket toilets, avoid using flammable materials (e.g., hay) as absorbent materials to prevent safety hazards.
