Mobile Toilet Setting Standards

Admin October 09, 2026

The setting standards for mobile toilets should be comprehensively considered in combination with general requirements such as structural functionality, material durability, size adaptability, application scenarios, and environmental flexibility. Details are as follows:

1. Structure and Functional Configuration
The core structure of mobile toilets includes fecal sewage storage tanks (or disposal units), flooring, sanitary fixtures, walls, washing facilities, water tanks, roofs, and mobility devices. Based on usage scenario requirements, their structural forms are divided into two categories: single-unit type (independent compartments suitable for places with dispersed pedestrian flow, such as small squares or temporary event areas) and modular type (modular assembly that can add facilities like handwashing stations and urinals, suitable for high-traffic areas such as stations and docks). In special scenarios, they can be equipped with barrier-free access (to meet the needs of disabled individuals), environmentally friendly ecological toilets (e.g., microbial degradation technology to reduce sewage discharge), or luxury facilities (such as air conditioning, lighting, and ventilation fans to enhance the user experience).

2. Materials and Durability
The main frame is mostly made of steel to ensure overall stability; exterior wall materials can be galvanized steel sheets, stainless steel sheets, aluminum sheets, or metal carved panels, balancing corrosion resistance and aesthetics; the interior is filled with rock wool or polyurethane insulation layers to adapt to different climatic conditions. The floor is laid with anti-slip flooring and covered with a waterproof layer to prevent water accumulation; doors and windows use aluminum alloy profiles with insulated tempered glass, ensuring both light transmission and safety.

3. Size and Adaptability
The standard length ranges from 1.2 meters to 3.0 meters, with width and height customizable according to site conditions. For example, narrow streets can choose compact designs, while large event venues can assemble and expand modules. Customized designs can flexibly adapt to terrain constraints (such as slopes or narrow spaces) and functional requirements (such as adding baby care rooms or management offices).

4. Application Scenarios
Mobile toilets are suitable for temporary or mobile demand scenarios, including stations, docks, tourist attractions, construction sites, squares, and bustling commercial streets. As a supplement to municipal facilities, they can quickly solve toilet access issues in tourist attractions, industrial parks, and other areas, playing a crucial role especially during holidays or emergencies.

5. Environmental Protection and Flexibility
There are various sewage treatment methods, including water flushing, waterless suction, circulating water flushing (water-saving design), and dry packing (no sewage discharge), which can be selected based on environmental carrying capacity. Mobile toilets support overall hoisting or modular assembly, making transportation convenient, enabling rapid deployment and repeated use, aligning with sustainable development principles.

Note: Specific setting standards may vary by region or industry regulations. It is recommended to refer to the Urban Public Toilet Planning and Design Standards and local regulations for further confirmation.
