Mobile Toilet on RV

Admin October 05, 2026

There are mainly four types of mobile toilets on RVs: biodegradable toilets, sealed mobile toilets, packaged waste collectors, and smart biodegradable toilets, each with its own characteristics and advantages.

The biodegradable toilet resembles an ordinary toilet in appearance, featuring a sit-down design with separate areas for defecation and urination. It contains biodegradable bacteria inside, and the toilet uses negative pressure exhaust to expel gases outward, preventing odors during use. After use, the toilet automatically stirs, effectively solving the problem of frequent emptying of the black water tank in traditional RV toilets, making it more convenient to use.

The sealed mobile toilet has a sealed design on both the upper and lower parts, preventing odors from rising at all times. After each emptying, pour about 15 milliliters of degrading liquid to ensure the toilet remains odor-free for four to seven days, and the waste inside can also be degraded. The water tank at the refilling position holds cleaning liquid with a pleasant fragrance, which not only provides a fresh scent during flushing but also effectively washes away waste. The black water tank is equipped with a metering agent that turns red when it is nearly full, indicating the need for emptying. The two-part design of the tank makes emptying easy, and it also features an exhaust valve to prevent expansion due to high temperatures or altitude changes.

The packaged waste collector consists of components such as an outer cylinder, waste collection box, foot pedal linkage mechanism, gear transmission mechanism, packaging cam, fiberglass inner cylinder, waste bag, and top cover plate. It does not require water for flushing, saving water resources; it does not require electricity and prevents odor leakage, making it hygienic and comfortable to use. Its material is mostly stainless steel, and it is widely available in the market, including in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, and other regions.

The smart biodegradable toilet does not require emptying black water; it only needs the degrading material inside to be replaced every one to two months. It features a bidet function with hot water, and there is a device inside the toilet that automatically stirs. After a few minutes of electric stirring, the odor is blown out by an external fan, and the waste is degraded within a few minutes. The degraded material resembles wood chips, is odorless, and can be directly used as fertilizer for plants. For one person, the degrading material should be replaced every 60 days, and for two people, it should be replaced every 30 to 40 days.
