Mobile Toilet Layout Design

Admin September 21, 2026

Common layout designs for mobile toilets include double-compartment layouts, four-squat-position plus management-room layouts, and modular layouts. Here are the details:

The double-compartment layout adopts a single-sided configuration with a dedicated public handwashing area in the middle. Taking the two-unit connected restroom in the style of an Apple cabin as an example, it has a length of 2.5 meters. The handwashing area employs sheet metal spraying technology, which endows the surface of the handwashing basin with excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance, thereby extending its service life. It is paired with aluminum-plastic panels in the front. Aluminum-plastic panels offer advantages such as being lightweight, having high strength, and good fire resistance. They not only look aesthetically pleasing but also enhance the overall structural stability. This layout is suitable for places with relatively small spaces and a moderate number of users, such as small parks and temporary event venues. It meets basic toilet needs while providing a centralized handwashing area for convenience.

The four-squat-position plus management-room layout is a relatively common design. It features four squat positions and one management room, along with a one-meter external step. The interior is well-equipped, including ceramic squat toilets. The ceramic material has a smooth surface that is easy to clean and can effectively reduce bacterial growth. Flush tanks ensure proper flushing to maintain toilet hygiene. Exhaust fans can promptly remove odors to keep the air fresh. Ceiling lights provide sufficient illumination for users. Urinals further meet the needs of different groups of people. The management room can be used to store cleaning tools and sanitary supplies, facilitating daily maintenance and management by staff. This layout is suitable for places with a large number of users and requiring certain management functions, such as large scenic spots and construction sites.

The modular layout integrates the functions of traditional fixed restrooms into a detachable and easily transportable structure through modular design. The standard equipment size is 1100*1100mm with a height of 2000mm, and the interior space balances practicality and compactness. It comes standard with plastic windows, which are lightweight and have good sealing properties. Metal locks ensure the safety of use. Color-steel edge wrapping prevents sharp edges from being exposed, reducing usage risks. Additionally, shower functions can be added according to needs to meet more diverse usage scenarios. This layout offers high flexibility and can be flexibly combined and adjusted according to the actual site and usage requirements. It is suitable for temporary and highly mobile venues, such as exhibitions and music festivals.
