Application Forms

• Gender-separated mobile toilets: For example, the gender-separated Apple Cabin toilets produced by Dezhou Hongtu Metal Products Co., Ltd. The women's toilet is pink, with a shared double-basin bathroom cabinet in the middle equipped with a beauty mirror. The women's toilet has two partitioned squatting positions, providing good privacy and a relatively independent and comfortable toilet space for tourists.
• Tidal toilets: Designed to address the long queues of women using toilets during major holidays. By setting up several "gender-neutral toilets" and using movable signs or lockable sliding doors, the usage rights are dynamically adjusted according to real-time foot traffic. For example, in Huizhou West Lake Scenic Area and Qinghai Heidushan Scenic Area, when there is significant queuing congestion in the women's toilets, staff first confirm that the men's toilets are empty and guide tourists out of the area. Then, they use partitions to create a temporary women's toilet area, update the signs simultaneously, and divert and guide tourists. After implementation, the effect is remarkable. During peak hours in Qinghai Heidushan Scenic Area, the waiting time for women's toilets has been reduced from more than 30 minutes to less than 10 minutes. In Huizhou West Lake Scenic Area, it takes only about 10 minutes to effectively alleviate toilet congestion, reducing the queuing time for female tourists from about half an hour to less than 10 minutes. However, there was initially controversy over the signage of tidal toilets. For example, Huizhou West Lake Scenic Area initially set up manually adjustable signs at the entrance to switch between men's and women's areas, which sparked质疑 (doubts/questions) from netizens. Later, all the adjustable signs in the tidal toilets involved were removed and will be replaced with fixed slot-type door plates. Subsequently, the toilet area functions will be switched by replacing the door plates.
