Mobile Toilet Fecal Tank

Admin September 21, 2026

The fecal tank of a mobile toilet is a key component used for collecting and treating feces in mobile toilets, commonly found in dry-packing mobile toilets.

Dry-packing mobile toilets employ a design that combines a packing squat toilet with a fecal storage tank. The most notable feature of this design is that it can operate normally without the need for water and electricity. Its working principle is that after a user defecates, the feces fall directly into the fecal storage tank through the squat toilet. The fecal storage tank is usually designed to be sealed to prevent odor emission and fecal leakage. As the number of uses increases, feces gradually accumulate in the fecal storage tank. When a certain amount is reached, regular cleaning is required. During cleaning, simply remove the fecal storage tank from the mobile toilet and replace it with a new one or properly dispose of the original one.

In addition to dry-packing mobile toilets, other types of mobile toilets may also involve the design of fecal tanks, but the specific forms and functions may vary. For example, water-flushing and non-water-flushing suction-type mobile toilets may use a suction device to draw feces from the toilet bowl into a storage tank. Recirculating water-flushing mobile toilets may use a recirculating water system to flush and treat feces, and the fecal tank may serve as part of the storage and treatment of fecal wastewater.

The design of the fecal tank in a mobile toilet needs to consider multiple factors. First, it is essential to ensure the tightness of the fecal tank to prevent odor emission and fecal leakage and maintain a hygienic environment in the mobile toilet. Second, the capacity of the fecal tank should be reasonably designed according to the usage frequency and expected number of users of the mobile toilet to ensure that it can hold enough feces between two cleanings. In addition, the material of the fecal tank should be corrosion-resistant and easy to clean to extend its service life and facilitate daily maintenance.

In practical applications, the design of the fecal tank in a mobile toilet also needs to consider its coordination and integration with other components of the mobile toilet to ensure the complete functionality and aesthetic appearance of the mobile toilet.
