Mobile Toilet Emitting Smoke
The emission of smoke from a mobile toilet may be caused by water vapor evaporation, chemical reactions, bacterial and microbial growth, or the triggering of an intelligent smoke control system. The specific reasons are as follows:

1. Water Vapor Evaporation, Chemical Reactions, and Bacterial and Microbial Growth
In a mobile toilet with poor ventilation, water vapor generated during daily use may condense into tiny water droplets due to high environmental humidity, creating a visual effect similar to smoke. Additionally, when chemical products such as cleaning agents and disinfectants react with organic matter in excreta, volatile gases may be released or aerosols may be generated, further exacerbating the smoke phenomenon. If the toilet is not thoroughly cleaned, bacteria and microorganisms can rapidly multiply in a humid environment, and their metabolic activities may also release gases or form biofilms, leading to turbid local air. To reduce such situations, it is necessary to ensure the normal operation of the toilet's ventilation system, clean it regularly, use environmentally friendly cleaning products that comply with national standards, and check for blockages or leaks in the drainage pipes to prevent sewage from stagnating and breeding bacteria.
2. Triggering of the Intelligent Smoke Control System (Taking Electrically Controlled Dimming Glass as an Example)
Some high-end mobile toilets (such as those in the Shuibei International Center in Luohu District, Shenzhen) are equipped with intelligent sensing smoke control systems, with the core being electrically controlled dimming glass technology. This glass has a liquid crystal dimming film embedded inside. When powered on, it appears foggy and opaque to protect privacy; when the smoke sensor detects a smoke concentration exceeding the set threshold (such as the no-smoking standard in public places), the system immediately cuts off the power supply, causing the liquid crystal molecules to be randomly distributed, and the glass turns transparent within a few seconds while triggering an audible and visual alarm. During this process, the rapid switching of the glass state may be mistaken for 'emitting smoke', but it is actually a normal联动 (linked) reaction of the smoke control system, aiming to warn against illegal smoking behavior and force ventilation. Such systems are usually equipped with high-sensitivity sensors and require regular maintenance to ensure accuracy and avoid false alarms or missed alarms.
If abnormal smoke continues to appear in the mobile toilet, it is recommended to first check the ventilation and cleaning conditions, rule out basic problems, and then contact the equipment supplier to troubleshoot intelligent system failures.
