Mobile Toilet Construction Diagram
Admin October 08, 2026
Currently, there is no complete construction diagram for mobile toilets, but there are two methods for making movable restrooms using water storage devices for reference:

Construction Using a Water Storage Barrel
- Basic Frame Construction: First, use an angle grinder to split the water storage barrel in half lengthwise. Fix universal wheels at the four corners of a wooden board for easy mobility. Then, secure wooden strips to the upper side of the barrel with self-tapping screws to increase the height and provide space for installing other components.
- Door and Wall Construction: Cut an opening on the side of the water storage barrel for the door. Install sponge strips to form the door frame and embed plastic soft boards to create raised walls. Place the upper half of the water storage barrel on top of the wooden strips as the roof and apply white waterproof paint to enhance its appearance.
- Internal Facility Installation: Use foam strips to拼接 (assemble) discarded honeycomb wooden boards to make a simple door. Cut a hole at the bottom of the barrel and install a drain pipe to form a floor drain. Drill holes on the side and bottom of a plastic bucket and connect them with direct fittings. Place the plastic bucket on the roof to form a small water storage device and connect it to a shower head made from a water pipe. Install a tee fitting below the water inlet pipe and connect it to a showerhead. Place a toilet and install the water tank, securing it with glass glue. Connect the drain pipe to a sewage bucket. Horizontally connect a water pipe to the tee fitting on the outlet pipe and extend it to the doorway as the water inlet pipe for the sink. Drill a hole in the door and install a fitting.
Construction Using a Water Storage Tank and a Pallet
- Mobile Base Preparation: Fix universal wheels at the four corners of the bottom of a plastic pallet and place a water storage tank retrieved from a garbage station on it.
- Tank Processing and Stacking: Use an angle grinder to cut along the marked line on the top of the water storage tank to remove the top and form an open-top tank. Invert another open-top water storage tank and stack it on the first tank, securing the outer frame with self-tapping screws. Cut a rectangular opening to form a doorway.
- Internal Facility Installation: Cut a hole in the floor inside the water storage tank, insert an elbow and a water pipe, and seal them with glue. Cut off the excess water pipe, place a toilet, and secure it with glue. Fix a water pipe on the wall with clips and install a faucet. Use a stainless steel basin below to make a sink and connect it to a drain pipe. Connect the water inlet pipe to the toilet water tank, connect a shower hose, and install a spray-type showerhead and a toilet seat. Fix hinges and a wooden board on the frame of the water storage tank to form a door and install a door handle.
