Mobile Toilet Car

Admin September 20, 2026

Currently, there are relatively few 'mobile toilet cars' in the strict sense on the market, but there are some vehicle technologies or designs related to mobile toilets, some of which can be applied in car scenarios or have similar functions.

I. Sinotruk Howo Logistics Support Mobile Toilet Vehicle
This model is developed based on the Sinotruk Howo 4×2 National VI chassis and belongs to large-scale special vehicles, not car types. Its carriage design can simultaneously meet the sanitary toilet needs of 8 people, adopting a layout with separate areas for men and women. It is equipped with 3 urinals, 6 vacuum-suction squat toilets, 2 sit-down toilets, as well as sinks, water tanks, and sewage pumps. Such vehicles are mainly used in scenarios such as large-scale events, emergency rescues, or field operations, providing temporary public health solutions. However, due to their size and functional positioning, they cannot be directly applied in the car field.

II. Seres' Utility Model Patent for 'Vehicle-mounted Toilet and Vehicle'
The patent applied for by Seres proposes a vehicle-mounted toilet device that can be hidden under the seat and can be quickly pulled out for use in emergencies through a sliding rail assembly. This design was submitted for application in April 2025 and approved on April 10, 2026, but the official has not clearly stated whether it will be put into mass production. If mass production is achieved in the future, such a device may become one of the ways to realize the mobile toilet function in cars, solving space limitation issues through modular design and providing convenience for long-distance driving or special-need scenarios.

III. Technological Extensions of Mobile Toilet Vehicles from Other Brands
Mobile toilet vehicles produced by brands such as Chengli, Dongfeng, and Zhongheng Yuantai are mostly van-type or large-scale special vehicles, adopting integrated sanitary toilet modules equipped with independent sewage discharge and water supply systems. Although these vehicle models do not belong to the car category, their technological principles (such as vacuum-suction sewage discharge and water-saving design) can provide references for the research and development of mobile toilets in cars. For example, by reducing the volume of the sanitary toilet module and optimizing the sewage discharge method, lightweight solutions suitable for cars may be developed.

IV. Current Technological Challenges and Market Status
The internal space of cars is limited, and integrating the mobile toilet function requires solving key issues such as sealing, odor control, and sewage treatment. Currently, there are no mature mass-produced mobile toilet products for cars on the market, but the development of patent technologies and the special vehicle field offers possibilities for the future. If users need similar functions, they can pay attention to alternative solutions such as portable car toilets and emergency sanitary packs, or wait for further breakthroughs in relevant technologies.
