Mobile Outdoor Toilet Production

Admin September 22, 2026

Mobile outdoor toilets can be made using water storage barrels or water storage tanks and pallets. Here are the specific production methods:

Production Using Water Storage Barrels

  1. Basic Structure Construction: Use an angle grinder to split the water storage barrel in half lengthwise. Fix universal wheels at the four corners of a wooden board for easy mobility. Attach wooden strips and self-tapping screws to the upper side of the barrel to increase its height, providing space for installing other components later.
  2. Door Frame and Wall Construction: Create an opening on the side, install sponge strips to form the door frame, and embed plastic soft panels to create the walls. Use the upper half of the water storage barrel as the roof, ensuring both the toilet's enclosure and some degree of rain protection.
  3. Drainage and Water Storage Device Installation: Drill a hole at the bottom to install a drain pipe, forming a floor drain. Drill another hole on the side to connect an interface and place a plastic bucket as a water storage device for collecting sewage.
  4. Sanitary Facility Installation: Install a water pipe-made bath heater, toilet, and water tank, and connect the drain pipe to the sewage bucket. Use a three-way outlet pipe to horizontally connect a water pipe to the doorway as the inlet pipe for the washbasin. Drill a hole in the door to install an interface, meeting basic sanitary needs.

Production Using Water Storage Tanks and Pallets

  1. Mobile Base Preparation: Fix universal wheels at the four corners of the bottom of a plastic pallet and place a water storage tank recovered from a garbage station to provide a mobile base for the entire toilet.
  2. Tank Modification and Assembly: Use an angle grinder to cut along the top marking line to remove one side, creating an open-top tank. Invert another open-top water storage tank and stack it on top of the first one, securing the outer frame with self-tapping screws to increase the internal space of the toilet.
  3. Internal Facility Installation: Cut out a rectangular opening to form the doorway. Drill a hole in the internal floor, insert an elbow and a water pipe, and seal it. Install the toilet and secure it with glue. Use wall clips to fix the water pipe and install a faucet. Use a stainless steel basin to make a washbasin below and connect it to a drain pipe.
  4. Other Facility Improvements: Connect an inlet pipe to the toilet water tank, install a shower hose and bracket, a toilet seat, and a spray-type showerhead. Fix hinges on the water storage tank frame, connect wooden boards to form a door, and install a door handle to enhance user comfort.
