Methods for Building Prefabricated Houses
There are mainly three methods for building prefabricated houses: the construction of prefabricated detachable container houses, the rapid construction of rural prefabricated houses, and modular building construction.

Construction method for prefabricated detachable container houses: First, install the bottom frame. Connect the corner fittings and the bottom sills, and secure them with bolts. Place the purlins and connect them to the bottom sills. Measure the diagonals to ensure perpendicularity and guarantee the squareness and stability of the frame. Then, connect the columns to the bottom frame. At this time, do not fully tighten the bolts, leaving some room for adjustment later. After that, lay the MGO boards and level the ground to provide a flat foundation for subsequent installations. Next, install the top frame and reinforce the connections. Embed the drainage channels and fix the drainage pipes to ensure smooth drainage. Then, install the wall panels and ceilings one by one, paying attention to tight joints between the panels during installation. Fix the electrical wires and lay insulation materials to ensure the electrical safety and thermal insulation performance of the house. Finally, install the roof tiles to complete the construction of the entire house.
Rapid construction method for rural prefabricated houses: First, level the foundation to provide a stable base for the house, and then pour the cushion layer. Install 5-ton prefabricated foundation piles and fix them with base plates to enhance the load-bearing capacity of the foundation. The crossbeams are quickly connected using mortise-and-tenon joints, which not only provide a firm connection but also enable fast installation. After hoisting the stairs, lay 5-centimeter-thick floor slabs. The thickness of the floor slabs should meet the design requirements to ensure the structural safety of the house. Finally, grout the gaps between the components to make the connections tighter and improve the overall integrity and stability of the house.
Modular building construction method: Break down the building into independent modules. Complete the manufacturing of ceilings, floors, water and electrical pipelines, etc., in the factory to achieve standardized and industrialized production, improving production efficiency and quality. After transporting the manufactured modules to the site, assemble them like building blocks. For example, in the public housing project in Shenzhen, Guangdong, through the assembly of 6028 concrete modules, the completion and delivery time was shortened from 2.5 - 3 years to 1 year, greatly reducing the construction period and improving the construction efficiency.
