Large Mobile Toilet
A large mobile toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and provides toilet services to the public. It has the advantages of mobility, modularity, and ease of transportation, and comes in various types and structural forms.

I. Basic Definition and Characteristics A large mobile toilet refers to a facility that can be moved as a whole and can be placed at locations with fixed or temporary needs to solve toilet problems for the public and clients. Its notable characteristics include the ability to be easily transported to any location where it is needed and can be used repeatedly. It has the advantages of mobility, modularity, and ease of transportation. For example, a customized large mobile toilet may have an overall red design, with materials such as specially customized metal carved panels made of special boards that provide thermal insulation, corrosion resistance, and a framework entirely welded from thickened and reinforced silver-plated square steel. The front wall may also feature a lattice-shaped logo. Another example is a container mobile toilet that is 14 meters long, 3 meters wide, and 2.8 meters high, which can easily solve outdoor sanitation problems.
II. Composition and Structure Mobile toilets are generally composed of multiple parts. The fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device) is used to collect and treat fecal sewage; the floor provides a flat surface for users to stand and move around; sanitary fixtures such as toilets and squat pans meet basic toilet needs; walls serve to divide spaces and protect privacy; washing facilities facilitate user cleaning; water tanks provide water for flushing and other purposes; the roof protects against wind and rain; and the mobile device ensures that the entire unit can be moved.
III. Type Classification
- By structural form: They can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. Single-structure toilets are relatively independent and simple, while composite-structure toilets may be composed of multiple parts and have more complex and diverse functions.
- By mobility method: They are classified into lifting and handling mobile toilets, which mainly rely on lifting equipment or manual handling for movement; and powered and towed mobile toilets, which use powered devices or vehicles for towing, making movement more convenient and efficient.
- By sewage treatment method: There are water-flushing and non-water-flushing suction-type mobile toilets. Water-flushing toilets use water flow for flushing, while non-water-flushing suction-type toilets use suction devices to treat feces; circulating water-flushing mobile toilets can recycle flushing water to save water resources; and dry-packing mobile toilets package feces in a dry form for easy subsequent cleaning and transportation.
