Kuanhouli Mobile Toilet
The Kuanhouli mobile toilet, a bus-style movable public restroom, was put into use by the Lixia District Urban Management on October 1st. Currently, there are only two such mobile toilets in Jinan, located in Lixia and Huaiyin districts respectively, serving as a distinctive facility in the scenic area.
I. Usage Status
Since its introduction, the mobile toilet has witnessed a high usage frequency, with 2,000 uses on National Day and surging to 3,000 uses the next day, indicating a strong demand and popularity among tourists. This high usage frequency not only reflects tourists' need for convenient and comfortable restroom facilities but also underscores the important role of mobile toilets in scenic area services.
II. Facility Features
The mobile toilet boasts luxurious facilities, including air conditioning and soft music inside, providing tourists with a comfortable restroom experience. This design not only enhances tourists' restroom experience but also demonstrates the scenic area's meticulous attention to tourists' needs. Additionally, the mobile toilet is highly mobile, allowing it to be parked anywhere according to tourists' needs, effectively addressing the issue of restroom accessibility in the scenic area.
III. Specific Configuration
In terms of specific configuration, the mobile toilet is equipped with two female toilet stalls, two male toilet stalls, and three urinals, basically meeting tourists' restroom needs. This reasonable configuration takes into account the different needs of male and female tourists while ensuring restroom efficiency and comfort.
IV. Comparison with Existing Restrooms
Originally, there were 12 public restrooms in the Kuanhouli scenic area, but their signs were mostly posted on shop walls with small fonts, making them hard to notice. In contrast, the eye-catching vehicle body and convenient services of the mobile toilet have become a highlight of the scenic area, attracting numerous tourists to stop and take photos. This comparison not only highlights the advantages of the mobile toilet but also reflects the room for improvement in public service facilities in the scenic area.
