Jiuwei Wetland Park Mobile Toilets

Admin October 11, 2026

Jiuwei Wetland Park has taken emergency rectification measures such as adding mobile toilets to address the issue of difficult toilet access. The specific arrangements are as follows:

I. Temporary Addition of Mobile Toilet Cubicles
In response to the toilet pressure caused by a sudden increase in tourist numbers, Hangcheng Subdistrict and relevant departments have urgently allocated and installed a temporary mobile toilet with 8 mobile toilet cubicles beside Public Toilet No. 1 in Jiuwei Wetland Park (located 50 meters behind the waterfront stage). Construction workers have clearly stated that these cubicles will be put into use the day after installation, quickly alleviating toilet demand during peak hours. Such mobile toilets are highly flexible and can be deployed rapidly, making them suitable for short-term emergency scenarios and effectively supplementing the capacity of fixed public toilets.

II. Planned Addition of Temporary Public Toilets
To further optimize the layout of toilet facilities, relevant departments have planned to add a temporary public toilet with 9 fixed toilet cubicles beside Public Toilet No. 1, taking into account the current status of the park's sewage system. The project is expected to take 20 days to complete. After completion, a multi-tiered supply system of "fixed public toilets + temporary public toilets + mobile toilet cubicles" will be formed. Although temporary public toilets are short-term facilities, their design will incorporate basic functions such as sewage pipe connection and ventilation and odor control to ensure user experience and environmental protection requirements.

III. Upgrade of Supporting Signage System
In addition to hardware facilities, the park has also advanced the optimization of toilet signage. Currently, more than 20 toilet signs have been added and updated, and there are plans to further increase the density of sign distribution and update sign content. By clearly indicating the location of public toilets, the type of toilet cubicles (e.g., fixed/mobile), and distance information, tourists can quickly locate the target facilities, reducing congestion and anxiety caused by searching for public toilets.

IV. Significance of Measures and Subsequent Planning
The above measures reflect a governance approach of "emergency priority and long-term consideration": temporary mobile toilet cubicles and public toilets can quickly respond to current needs, while the upgrade of the signage system enhances tourist experience through attention to service details. In the future, as tourist volume data accumulates, the park may evaluate whether to convert temporary public toilets into long-term facilities or achieve fundamental improvements through expanding fixed public toilets, optimizing traffic flow design, and other means.
