How to Use Truck-Mounted Mobile Toilets
Admin October 02, 2026
The use of truck-mounted mobile toilets requires following general procedures based on their types, while paying attention to type differences and maintenance points, as detailed below:

I. General Operating Procedures
Parking and Stabilization
Drive the truck-mounted mobile toilet to the designated location using the chassis, and extend the side support legs to enhance stability. Ensure that the carriage size matches the toilet base, and that the bottom is equipped with fixing rings or welding points to prevent tipping over during transportation or use.Connecting Supporting Facilities
- Water and Power Supply: Connect to an external water source (such as a water tank or municipal water supply) and a power source (optional generator). Check the sealing of the vacuum pump and sewage pipeline to prevent leaks.
- System Adaptation: For water-flush systems, confirm that the water tank or external water source is sufficient; for waterless packing systems, no water source is needed, but check the reserve of packing bags; for eco-friendly systems, ensure that the microbial degradation tank or dry-wet separation device is functioning properly.
- Starting the Equipment
Turn on the ventilation system and lighting equipment. Some models require starting the microbial degradation tank (eco-friendly system) or vacuum suction device (truck-trailer system). If equipped with an IoT monitoring system (such as in truck-trailer systems), use GPS positioning to monitor remaining capacity, ammonia concentration, and other data in real-time.
II. Type-Specific Operating Procedures
- Water-Flush Direct Discharge System
- Operating Points: Regularly clean the sewage tank to avoid reduced suction efficiency due to full load; in cold regions, add antifreeze to prevent pipeline freezing.
- Applicable Scenarios: Temporary events, construction sites, and other scenarios requiring rapid sewage discharge.
- Waterless Packing System
- Operating Points: Continuously purchase biodegradable plastic packing bags. Although the cost per use is higher, there is no need to clean the sewage tank, making it suitable for areas without a water source.
- Applicable Scenarios: Remote areas, disaster relief, and other water-scarce environments.
- Eco-Friendly System
- Operating Points: Maintain the operating environment temperature above 0℃ to ensure microbial activity; although the initial equipment investment cost is higher, the long-term maintenance cost is low.
- Applicable Scenarios: Eco-tourism areas, long-term construction projects, and other scenarios requiring environmentally friendly treatment.
- Truck-Trailer Mobile Restroom
- Operating Points: Utilize an independent water storage system (500-1000 liters) and vacuum suction technology, with only 0.5 liters of water required per flush, making it highly water-efficient; optimize operation and maintenance efficiency through an IoT monitoring system.
- Applicable Scenarios: Large-scale events, urban emergency support, and other scenarios requiring high-frequency use.
III. Maintenance Points
- Regular Cleaning: Discharge the sewage tank before it becomes full to avoid reduced suction efficiency; check the compatibility of the sewage discharge interface with the truck and modify it to a quick connector if necessary.
- Antifreeze Treatment: In northern winters, wrap the pipelines of the water-flush system with insulation materials or add antifreeze.
- Consumables Replenishment: Regularly replace packing bags for waterless packing systems and supplement microbial strains for eco-friendly systems.
