How to Remove Toilet Sliding Door

Admin October 06, 2026

The method for removing toilet sliding doors varies depending on the type. Here are the removal steps for common types:

Standard Sliding Door

  • Single Door: First, lift the door upwards to detach its bottom from the lower track. Then, tilt the door at an angle to remove its top from the upper track. If the track is suspended, you may need to remove the track and the door together. First, check how the track is connected to the door. If it is detachable, find the connecting parts and loosen them before removing the whole assembly.
  • Double Doors: Use an appropriate tool (such as a screwdriver) to remove the two fixing screws from the upper track, separating the track from the door frame slot. Then, move both doors to the middle position, shift the bottom of the doors to one side to detach their tops from the frame slot, and finally remove the doors as a whole. During the operation, be careful to apply moderate force to avoid damaging the doors or the track.

Bathroom Glass Sliding Door

This requires two people to cooperate. One person lifts one door to keep it stable without the force from the top rollers. The other person uses a screwdriver or other tools to pull out the top rollers, detaching them from the door. After putting the door down, lift it again and drag the lower part outwards to completely separate the door from the installation structure, allowing the door to be removed. Pay attention to the weight and fragility of the glass door during operation to avoid glass breakage and injury caused by improper handling.

Hidden Wall Sliding Door in the Bathroom

First, lift the hidden sliding door upwards to raise it a certain distance above the ground. Then, use a screwdriver to move the rollers outward to loosen their connection with the door. Put the hidden sliding door down. At this point, without the support of the rollers, the hidden sliding door will not move randomly. After that, lift the hidden sliding door again and drag the lower rollers outward to separate them from the door. Once both the upper and lower rollers are removed, the hidden sliding door can be smoothly disassembled. During the disassembly process, pay attention to observing the installation position and connection method of the rollers for accurate operation.
