How to Pack a Portable Toilet

Admin September 23, 2026

There are mainly two types of packing methods for portable toilets: mechanical packing and automatic packing. Here is a detailed introduction:

Mechanical Packing

Mechanical packing involves using a manually operated foot-pedal traction device for packing. Its working principle is to utilize a packing device to collect feces and pack them securely in a storage tank. After a user finishes using the toilet, manual operation of the traction device is required. By stepping on the pedal or other means to activate the traction device, the feces are sealed in a packing bag. Subsequently, the packing bag moves down along with the packing strap and eventually enters the storage tank. This process effectively collects and initially treats the feces, preventing direct exposure to the outside environment.

At the same time, mechanically packed portable toilets also have the function of automatically updating the packing bag on the toilet seat. After the feces are packed into the storage tank, the packing bag on the seat is automatically replaced with a new one. This design is very clever and practical. It not only avoids cross-infection among different users, ensuring their health and safety, but also prevents air leakage and reduces odor emission, improving the comfort of the usage environment. For example, at large outdoor events, when using mechanically packed portable toilets, staff only need to regularly clean the storage tank to ensure the normal operation of the toilets. Moreover, their relatively simple operation makes them easy to maintain and manage.

Automatic Packing

Although the reference information does not elaborate on automatic packing in detail, generally speaking, automatic packing portable toilets rely on built-in intelligent sensing systems and automatic packing devices to complete the packing work. After a user finishes using the toilet and leaves, the intelligent sensing system detects this signal and automatically activates the packing device. The packing device seals and packs the feces and automatically sends the packed feces into the storage tank while updating the packing bag on the toilet seat. The automatic packing method does not require manual operation of the traction device, making it more convenient and efficient. It reduces manual intervention, further enhancing the convenience and hygiene of use, and is suitable for places with high hygiene requirements and large foot traffic.
