How to Make Perfect Prefabricated Houses

Admin September 19, 2026

The production of perfect prefabricated houses involves three main stages: factory prefabrication, transportation process, and on-site assembly, and there are various forms.

Factory Prefabrication

  • Module Splitting and Standardized Production: The entire house is divided into independent standard modules, such as bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms, and corridors, which are individually made into standardized box modules. All processes are completed in domestic factories, including steel structure main body welding, wall laying, pre-embedding of water and electricity pipelines, installation of doors and windows, full-house fine decoration, waterproof and fireproof testing, and safety quality inspection. When leaving the factory, each module is a complete room with decoration, water and electricity, and supporting facilities, achieving 'finished product upon leaving the factory' and eliminating the need for secondary construction at overseas construction sites.
  • Mechanized Production and Quality Control: The factory adopts full mechanized production with millimeter-level precision control, avoiding manual construction errors and defects. It has passed building safety certifications from multiple countries including the EU, Australia, and the Middle East, with quality standards comparable to international high-end buildings.
  • Production of Prefabricated Houses in Different Forms: Prefabricated houses mainly come in three forms: steel structure, concrete, and wood. Taking concrete prefabricated houses as an example, when making prefabricated slabs, first nail a hollow model with wooden boards, lay steel bars in the hollow part of the model, then fill the hollow part with cement. After it dries, knock off the wooden boards, and what remains is the prefabricated slab. However, the use of prefabricated hollow slabs is no longer advocated now. Building structures mostly adopt cast-in-place structures, which have better integrity.

Transportation Process

  • Customized Production and Modular Packaging: According to the needs of overseas customers, customize the house layout, style, and functions, and the factory mass-produces the modules. All modules are uniformly coded, classified and accepted, and provided with waterproof, anti-corrosion, and shock-proof protection to adapt to the ocean shipping environment.
  • Full-Vehicle Transportation and Direct Delivery to Ports: The finished modules are transferred to domestic ports by special flatbed trucks, with dimensions suitable for international standard shipping containers, reducing transportation costs.
  • Ocean Shipping and Global Sales: The packaged house modules are shipped by ocean-going cargo ships to more than 150 countries and regions around the world. They can reach Southeast Asia in a week, the Middle East in more than 20 days, and Europe and the United States in about a month, with full logistics traceability.

On-Site Assembly

After the modules arrive at overseas ports, they are directly transported to the construction site. There is no need for wall building, plastering, or pipeline laying. Through crane hoisting and interface connection, they are positioned, locked, and connected to water and electricity like assembling Lego blocks. For example, the 63 sets of Chinese prefabricated elderly care apartments purchased by the UK were all assembled and completed within 14 days after landing, with a construction efficiency increase of more than 60% compared to traditional overseas construction methods.
