How to Load and Unload Container Houses
Admin September 16, 2026
Loading and unloading container houses require a standardized process and the cooperation of professional equipment. The core steps include loading and unloading preparation, in-process operations, and post-operation tidying up. Details are as follows:

I. Loading and Unloading Preparation Stage
- Positioning and Fixing
Place the container house steadily at the designated location, usually done by a professional handling team or mechanical equipment (such as forklifts or cranes). Ensure that the ground is level and has sufficient load-bearing capacity to prevent tilting or displacement during loading and unloading. - Equipment Selection
- Small items: Use a forklift for direct loading. Pay attention to ensuring that the stacking height of the goods does not exceed the safety limit of the container.
- Large or heavy items: A crane must be used for lifting. The lifting slings must match the weight of the goods, and operations should be directed by a dedicated person.
- Intelligent equipment: In some scenarios, floor-mounted loading and unloading equipment is used. The container is lowered to the ground via a wireless remote control, and after the truck is guided in, it is lifted with one click to complete loading and unloading, which takes only about 3 minutes in total.
II. Loading and Unloading In-Process Operations
- Goods Layout and Fixing
- Weight balance: Goods should be evenly distributed to prevent unilateral overweight, which could cause deformation or tipping of the container during transportation.
- Anti-displacement measures: Use fillers (such as bubble wrap or foam boards) to fill gaps and firmly connect the goods to the inner walls of the container using straps, fixing brackets, and other devices.
- Sealing and Safety Inspection
After loading is completed, close the container door and affix anti-tamper seals to ensure that the goods are not illegally opened during transportation. At the same time, check the container's airtightness to prevent the ingress of rainwater or dust. - Equipment-Assisted Loading and Unloading
- Hydraulic lifting system: Move the equipment to the four corners of the container for precise alignment. Connect the hydraulic lines, adjust the height, install special triangular blocks, and tighten the bolts. Finally, use the remote control to activate the lifting function to complete loading or unloading.
- IoT monitoring: Install sensors to monitor the status of the goods (such as vibration and tilt) and environmental parameters (such as temperature and humidity) in real-time during loading and unloading. Feed the data back through a cloud platform to achieve intelligent management.
III. Loading and Unloading Post-Operation Stage
- Site Cleanup
Remove packaging waste generated during loading and unloading, check whether equipment (such as forklifts and cranes) is back in place, and ensure that the passage is clear. - Data Recording
Record information such as loading and unloading time, type of goods, weight, and equipment usage to provide a basis for logistics tracking and subsequent optimization.
Precautions: Operators should receive professional training and be familiar with equipment operation specifications. Before loading and unloading, confirm that the container structure is intact to avoid damage to the goods due to container damage.
