How to Install a Portable Toilet
The installation of a portable toilet can follow these steps, with specific operations adjusted according to the product type and instruction manual:

1. Unboxing Inspection and Component Verification Upon receiving the portable toilet, open the packaging immediately and verify that the component list is complete. Common components include the toilet body, flange, angle valve, water inlet hose, three-way connector, spray head assembly (including sealing rings), spray head bracket, and caulking tools. If any components are missing or damaged, contact the merchant promptly for replacements to avoid interruptions during installation.
2. Installing the Toilet Flange and Positioning The flange is a crucial component connecting the toilet to the sewer pipe. Align the center of the flange with the center of the floor sewer pipe, ensuring a complete and aligned fit between the flange and the sewer pipe opening. Then, place the toilet steadily on the flange and gently press around the toilet to secure it, preventing sewage leakage due to flange misalignment. Pay special attention to the vertical alignment of the flange with the sewer pipe during this step, as misalignment can affect drainage efficiency.
3. Connecting the Water Inlet System Install the angle valve and connect the water inlet: Secure the angle valve to the wall or an appropriate location, and connect the water inlet (usually from the water tank or direct water supply end) to the toilet water inlet hose using the three-way connector. Use tools to tighten all connections to ensure they are secure. Sealing is crucial; if any connections leak, disassemble them, wrap with Teflon tape, and reinstall.
4. Assembling and Installing the Spray Head Assembly Tighten the sealing rings at both ends of the spray head to prevent leaks during use. After assembly, connect the spray head to the other end of the three-way connector and firmly snap the spray head bracket into the fixing slot at the top of the three-way connector. Ensure the bracket is securely installed to prevent the spray head from wobbling or detaching during use.
5. Water Testing and Caulking Fixation After completing all connections, open the water inlet valve for a water test. Check if the toilet flush and spray head water flow are normal and if any connections leak. If the water test is successful, the final step is to apply caulk around the base of the toilet where it contacts the floor. Apply the caulk evenly to cover the gaps, and wait for the caulk to fully cure before use to enhance stability and prevent odor emission.
Precautions:
- The installation process may vary for different types of portable toilets (e.g., electric/non-electric, with water tank/direct-drain models). Always follow the product instruction manual or guidance provided by customer service.
- Keep the installation environment dry to prevent water stains from affecting component adhesion or electrical safety (for electric models).
- If wall drilling or pipe modification is required, it is recommended to contact a professional to avoid damaging the existing structure.
