Mobile Toilets in Hongshan Town

There are different situations regarding mobile toilets in different areas of Hongshan Town.

In Fuzhou Chenguang Garden Community, there has been an issue of illegal construction related to mobile toilets. Some homeowners have converted their garages into residences and then built mobile toilets outside their residential doors. This behavior constitutes illegal construction and has had a negative impact on the community's landscape renovation and construction. Landscape renovation and construction in the community usually require unified planning and layout. The illegally constructed mobile toilets have disrupted the overall aesthetics and coordination, potentially hindering the normal progress of construction, affecting the schedule and quality of the renovation project, and also bringing certain difficulties to community management.

Yezhihu Greenway is facing the challenge of public toilet construction. Due to land ownership issues, the public toilet construction project has not been implemented smoothly. To address the toilet needs of tourists on the greenway, Hongshan District has submitted a plan to government functional departments, intending to build temporary mobile public toilets on the greenway in the later stage. Temporary mobile public toilets are highly flexible and can be moved and adjusted according to actual needs. In the case where the land ownership issue has not been resolved, they are a relatively appropriate transitional solution that can meet the basic toilet needs of tourists and enhance their experience while visiting the greenway.

The People's Government of Hongshan Town, Gulou District, Fuzhou, mentioned in its reply to a suggestion from a deputy to the People's Congress that due to the lack of suitable land for new public toilet construction in the Fenghu Bus Station area, relevant convenient toilet facilities have been built around the area at present. However, it has not been clearly stated whether these convenient toilet facilities are mobile toilets. Nevertheless, it can be inferred that in the situation where there is no suitable land for new public toilet construction, mobile toilets, as a flexible and convenient facility, may be one of the options for convenient toilet facilities to meet the toilet needs caused by the large flow of people in the area.
