Ganzhou Event Portable Toilets

Admin September 22, 2026

When organizing events in Ganzhou, the deployment of portable toilets should be comprehensively considered from aspects such as preliminary planning, site selection, quantity allocation, environmental support, maintenance, special scenarios, and rental cooperation to enhance the experience of participants.

Preliminary Planning: Clearly define requirements with the rental provider and estimate the number of attendees based on the event type. For music festivals and concerts, calculate 1-2 toilets per 100 people, with an additional 20% backup toilets for events lasting 12 hours. For exhibitions, allocate 1 toilet per 2000 square meters. If the event includes dining or rest areas, consider increasing the number of toilets accordingly. It is recommended to complete rental reservations 1 month in advance (15-30 days in advance for concerts).

Site Selection Requirements: Toilets should be located within 30 meters of the main event area, avoiding low-lying and damp areas. Given Ganzhou's rainy summers, ensure the foundation is at least 30 cm above ground level to prevent water accumulation, and reserve a wheelchair access lane with a width of no less than 0.9 meters.

Quantity Allocation: The standard allocation is 10 toilets per 500 people for concerts, with 1 group of portable toilets (2-3 units per group) placed every 200 meters in the main audience area, maintaining a distance of over 3 meters between toilets and walkways. For exhibitions, allocate 1 toilet per 2000 square meters. If the event includes a children's area, add an additional accessible toilet. Conduct a 30-minute trial run before use to check the flushing system.

Environmental Support: The rental provider should supply anti-slip mats and lighting systems (essential for nighttime events). Given the abundance of mosquitoes in Ganzhou during summer, it is recommended to install mosquito repellent devices. Place directional signs outside the toilets, marked in red with white text, visible from 50 meters away from the entrance.

Daily Maintenance: Assign dedicated personnel for daily inspections, replenishing toilet paper and hand sanitizer every 2 hours. After heavy rain, check the toilet's sealing performance, paying special attention to ventilation and moisture prevention during Ganzhou's rainy season. Complete equipment cleaning and disinfection within 24 hours after the event.

Special Scenario Arrangements: For outdoor venues, choose portable toilets with good waterproof and sun-resistant properties, surrounded by sunshades or green belts, with anti-slip tiles on the ground. For indoor venues, prioritize foldable or lightweight portable toilets, coordinate with the venue's existing restrooms, use signs to divert traffic, and ensure proper ventilation. Reserve 1-2 accessible portable toilets equipped with handrails and emergency call devices, and consider increasing the proportion of female-specific toilets, suggesting a 3:1 ratio.

Rental Cooperation Considerations: Clearly define equipment delivery time, usage duration, and cost details. Agree on a fault response time (recommended ≤ 2 hours) and backup equipment provisions. Communicate extreme weather response plans with the rental provider in advance and plan emergency evacuation routes. After the event, the rental provider should complete equipment removal within 24 hours and provide a cleaning and disinfection certificate.
